here is (part of, its 50 items long) the radiobuttonlist

and i use the value of the 'Value' attribute to make a selection

then I want the 'text' property of SelectedItem to be in the subject line of an email
[Code]....
but no matter what i do, it uses the 'Text' property of the first item in the list that has the same 'Value' as the one from the selection

I am using simple radiobuttonlist with four items, I have enabled viewstate and postback but whatever option I choose it always return first value.
Here is the code:

This was working fine and then I was tinkering around and I can't figure out what I did to break it. When I stepthrough the debugger, the for each stmt cannot read values from the radiobutton list or the textbox, it only show "" for each. I double checked the id names between the code behind and the markup.

I have two dropdownlist's.DropDownList2(not bound to a datasource) and DropDownList3(bound to a datasource)
On change on input in one dropdownlist some content in the other Dropdownlist should change. For that i had used the logic as.
Autopostback is enabled for both this controls.

Now the problem is when i select DropDownList2.SelectedItem.Text == "Reg" STA and STM are not present. I want STA and STM values back in the dropdownlist on selection of 'Reg'.
When i first load my page and select 'Reg' all the values in DropDownList3(including 'STA' and 'STM') are present and than when i select 'Stamp' the values 'STA' and 'STM' are lost(as shown in the code). Now again when i select 'Reg' this values are not there, i want this values to be present again. What do i have to do?? Do i have to bind it again to database?
Is there any other logic for it to be used in a different way ?

i have a multiple user controls, each user control has multiple properties, i am loading those controls dynamically in my aspx page,i save the user control name in a hidden field in my aspx page,so i can know whats usercontrol are currently loaded,now i want to set/get some values for Currently user control properties,how can i know the properies available for that dynamics loads control ?also how to know the class for that control ?

I have some user controls which have properties which need to be set from a form on the page

Property3 and Property4 anre both public properties of the page I am on and the user control
Currently the code complaing about Property3 saying it cannot create an object of Int32 from '<%=Property3%>' and Property4 always gets set to 0 (the default)
I do not wish to use the c# code to set these values as this Plugin will be deployed with a CMS which I have no control over

I am getting int values from the stored procedure. But when i bind this datasource with the gridview i am seeing the values being converted into float. i am using Text='<% # Bind("Quantity") %' I wanna that to be displayed as int, with out zero'seg: let the value be 233, when i bind that its getting displayed as 233.00

I have a radiobuttonlist inside a datalist itemtemplate and i need to bind the radiobuttonlist dynamically from database I have tried to bind it inside itemdatabound event of datalist but it the result is always duplicated according to the fields in teh database.
for more information:
the database has two columns one for questions and the other is for choices , for the first question with id lets say 1 there are 4 choices, when the radiobutton is binded the result appears to be 4 times duplicated ?

I have a situation where I need to generate multiple sets of radio buttons. These radio buttons display One to Many relationship data.
I know how to get it to work with a workaround that I used back in Classic ASP days ... in which I essentially just spit out the HTML dynamically and keep track of my controls using systematic IDs. Which is nothing more then an Primary Key appended to a string constant i.e. String.Format("Dynamic_{0}", myChildRecordPKValue) so my HTML looks like this:

Note that I am using a javascript function which updates a hidden field with the selected value (Each parent record has a corresponding hidden field). So after making selection user will hit the submit button and I get my values using Request.Form[myHiddenField1] and so on ...
