I am using technologies Visual studio 2005, .net frame work 2.0, ASP.NET, C#.NET, MS-Office 2003, Chart Director Tool and Operating system Windows Xp.Iam able to create a power point slide using my C#.net code. But I am not getting how to put Chart image in that slide. Using the below code I am generating chart in my .aspx page.
I'm wondering building a website like StackOverFlow (approximately the same features using ASP.NET ) How much Work-power and time does it take in your opinion . My boss has asked me to estimate for work-power , time , cost and suitable technologies .

Hi- I have a web page that uses a combination of gridviews and html elements to create a report. I would like to give the user an option to click and it will export to a pdf. I would prefer not to create the pdf on the server as that requires me to write another process to clean up files.
Optimally, I'd like the current page to open a new page that renders the pdf and prompts the user to save it/open it.
I've looked at iTextSharp and am interested in using it if I don't have to specify every element. If there is a way to specify a panel and all of it's contents or an alternative, I'm open to that too.
I have an iframe in one of my aspx files which is located in folder1.

The filename.aspx file is in folder2, so the above line throws an error..... In my company we use a control that renders the <link rel="stylesheet"> tags dynamically at runtime (equivalent of scriptmanager who renders <script> tags dynamically). this control is very good, cause it select the appropriate css stylesheets depending on some criterias. The problem is that on design time for Visual Studio there is no designated CSS stylecheet since there is no <link rel="stylesheet"> tags on the page.
If I put <link rel="stylesheet"> tags on the aspx page (to indicate a design time stylesheet) this tag will be rendered to client and it causes conflicts with tags rendered by the control !
I have a webform that has a master page. In the web form I have a dropDownList it has PostBack=True, cause every time I changed the option I concat paratemer (item choosen) at hyperlink's navigate url property, for example I have 2 items:
id text 1 Option1 2 Option2
If the users select Option1 then concat at the url "?option=1" The problem is, that when I choose one option and then click at hyperlink everything goes right, but at the second time I choose an option the browser try to download de page itself aspx. update: even if I click at other hyperlink or link button after choose an option and click the hyperlink, the same thing happens (the browser ask me for download the page aspx)
I have no idea how to avoid this behavior at browser and it happens just at server with the IIS not while I'm testing at VS2008, update: ah I almost forget, if I click "cancel" at the prompt of firefox, then everything goes right again, until the next time I choose other option and click at the hyperlink, then everything goes wrong again...
I have a javascript menu and this is really weird.
The original code had a header.gif and a headerover.gif. That was the background for the menu tabs but I did not like the colors, so I made my own gifs, and renamed them to red.gif and yellow.gif. And of course, they were red and yellow, just to test it out. It worked great, the tabs were red, and yellow when hovered over. Put it into my project, and included the script file, the images and code and i worked, red and yellow. Made new pics, blue and grey. Named them normal and hover. Added them to the project,and changed the code to point to those images instead, but still red and yellow????? SO I deleted all the code from the css and the aspx page. I deleted the script, and deleted the images. I saved the project. Then I put the images in the project (hover,normal which are blue/grey) and added my aspx code and my script and my code to css (pointing to hover, normal which are blue and grey)
Run the project and it's yellow and red. How is this possible? The images aren't even in the project, the code doesn't point to any red or yellow image.
I have a HTML IMG tag on my master page and there are aspx pages in the same folder which access this master page and it works fine.but if i have aspx pages in sub folder(inside root) which access the master page,the IMG doesnt work,the master page is in root folder.

I have an .ASPX page that runs some C# code-behind for about 60 seconds after the page is requested. After 60 seconds, the page appears as expected in Internet Explorer.During this 60 second time period, IIS will not serve new requests for OTHER .ASPX pages. However, .HTM files continue to be served fine. The CPU is only at 1%.Is it true that IIS only can process one .ASPX request at a time? This can't be true. All IIS settings are default.

I am generating an aspx page which then I need to convert to png and store it somewhere. A similiar situation with mine was asked before here but got still no response. I tried also the code that the Swapnil Fegade has asked but the code is looping continually making request to loading page and no conversion is actually being done.I found some solutions on the web also but they require WebBrowser control which i understood can be used in windows form but i am building a web project.
