I have two pages
First page has some textboxes.when i click on submitt data will store and navigate to another page.
In second page i back button.When i click on BACK button first page will store entered values.
I want to pass my textbox value to another page and display in label on submit button click on first page...

I have created a back button on my asp page. However, I would like this back button a a sinlge click to return the user to the page 2 pages before. I have tried to enter the history.back(2) but with no luck it does not work.
i am using vs2008. 1/ i am placed a datagrid control, a textbox and a server side button are inside the CollapsiblePanelExtender.
2/ The collapsible panel Extender placed inside the updatepanel.
3/ outside of updatepanel i have another button("next page") to redirect to next page.
When the page is loading, i am displaying all the records in datagrid. For an example 100 rocords. if i entered some values in textbox and click the button it fetches searching result based on inputs and displaying it in datagrid (for example searched result 20).
Now, I click the button "next page" it redirect to next page. if the user click the browser back button, i need to keep the datagrid to show only searched result. but Instead of that, it displaying all the records(100 records). how to resolve this?
when press back button the previous page control value erased..but I want the control value should be visible.

However, when I click on the BACK button of the browser, it will bring back of course the previous page and at the same time, the data that I encoded still appear. How am be able my page that if in case my users click on the Back button of the browser it will redirect on a certain page or if not, the entries will not appear.

We are using above user control twice in a single page, then we will get 2 buttons in that page.
If we click on any of the button then page gets post back twice. Can some one let me know why it is happening and how to fix this?

Doing this, the page postback but the server click event doesn't fire.

I'm looking for a simple solution to disable the IE functionality of the backspace key behaving like a back button. I have textboxes that are dynamically set to read only depending on certain criteria. If the user hits the backspace key when focus is on a read only textbox it navigates back a page. I would like to disable this functionality.

If you click the Add to Cart button for the $ 99.95 item it takes you back to the page and not to the cart, but the other 2 buttons work just fine.
