However, this is a TreeView component in the Navigation Tab. I want a DataGrid in a tree view which isn't navigation. Is there a ready FREE component out there?? If not, what is the right component to start with to build such a tree component???

I am using TreeView Control in Asp.net. I have placed this control inside a panel. The tree control is completely binded (we don't want populate on demand) with an Xmldatasource during a callback and then I call Panel.renderControl to return the response (HTML) to the client side callback handler. Problem: 1. The tree expand/collapse (on click of plus sign) is causing postback whereas when I normally bind a tree with xml during postback and without using renderControl of container control, the expand/collapse (on click of plus sign) is being handled at client side. I want to stop this postback and allow tree node to call javascript to toggle nodes as it does when tree is binded and renderd in case of normal page life cycle.(when render control function is not used)

I have Check boxed tree view control on a popup control. Two button also there, 1) Save 2) Cancel.
On cancel I am hiding the pop-up control. But if any change I have mad on tree view (Check or Uncheck) will be there if I am open it again.
So I need to undo any change done on tree view if I clicked cancel button.

I am doing a online web application whereby user is able to enter in new template as well as search for template. The Add template is located outside the grid view and if user clicks on the button, it will load the grid view that is populated with data as there is a row of empty fields at the bottom. However when I click on the Add Template button, the grid view does not appear.

Everything that I can find online seems to only show the use of the dropdown list control using a data grid. I don't want to use a data grid because it doesn't have the functionality/ power as the grid view control. how I can incorporate a dropdown list control with the grid view control? In my project. I used ExtendedGridView to display stock info by location . I want to add two special column in this grid. One col is radio button field and another one is checkbox field. When user click radio button, I will show the next grid below the first grid.
When user select the checkbox, the system should allow to select multi check box and then I have to proceed in updating and show other fields.
But I never done two events in grid view. I am still finding the way to develop this requirement .

It's working fine but problem is that if i select 10 and record from dropdown and record also has 10 then paging is not showing.
That's mean i select 10 from dropdown and record is 10 then dropdown also disable with numbers, suppose i need to select again 5 then i can't do this.

View 4 RepliesI am dynamically loading user controls into my main page on button event.The user control has a textbox and a gridview When i enter data in textbox , the autopostback event fires and loads data into the gridview. when i load another instance of user control and do any post back the gridview data is not persisting.Until and unless I bind the data, gridview is not having any data after postback.This is creating issue when I al updating a row in gridview as data is not persisting after postback.
