I have a requirement to read the excel sheet contents(with first row as header) and to populate it in a Datagrid. so as to manipulate the excel sheet data. But i get an error saying "Could not find installable ISAM". after a big struggle i came to know that the culprit is the "connection string". I tried with various connection strings and now i get the error " Format of the Initialization string does not conform to specification starting at index 121".

The reason is that in my application I don't know in advance how many controls (or texts) I should insert.
For example I have to read the fields from a database table and insert in the ItemTemplate controls according to those fields:

I would like to have an ASP.NET app read the contents of this folder so the manager can view the backup files to confirm backups are working and optionally delete these backup files when an old drive is reconnected so it can be used for the next weeks backups.
This backup folder is oubviously outside the server's webroot. Is there some way I can grant authority so the ASP.Net app can access this folder for this purpose? I would be using VS Web Express, so can't create any signed packages and such.
