1) I've managed to display 3 columns in one column (see code above) but the data is separated by commas, how can I display each data item in separate rows.
2) How can I make the data unique, as I have added the distinct command which I configured in my SQL data source
3) I need the rows to not display nulls, but at the moment it isn't displaying the row if one of the columns is null?

Apr 12, 2010I did the data access tutorials on this site.They used validation controls for the insert and the edit template fields. Each of these used their own validation summary control. The markup for them is below. Can I use the same validation summary control for both the insert and the edit validation controls? It seems redundant if i can set the Validation Group property to the same value then I would only need to use one validation summary.I don't know if this is allowed, or a good idea though.

Apr 14, 2010I need to produce a from where I can add multiple parts. Each time a user enters a part number, the description should be populated. The user can then click add and this part and description will be shown below. They have the option to add as many parts as they require. Once all parts are added the user fills in some general info eg description and then once a submit button is clicked all part info will be inserted into a table and general info will be inserted into another table with one unique ID.

I Add a TemplateField "Insert Row" button to insert 1 blank row at selected row using Rows.AddAt.First time i press "Insert Row", it works as expected, the row inserted at selected row. now i press another "Insert Row", the row is inserted, however the row (in first time inserted) now move to the last row. and so on.

here i am sending SMS to the employee number displaying in the gridview (taking the employee phone number and send SMS).. this i have done using bulk SMS services, i have taken the number using the following

but now what the problem is i have to delete the gridview rows.. i am using the same employee phonenumber to delete the corresponding gridview, but if suppose the single employee applied for two or more leave, the gridview display all leave for the single employee, the admin have sanction only one leave for that employee.. so if he checks the check box and click on OK button.. it have to delete the corresponding row as well as send SMS to the phonenumber of the employee.. Other leaves of the same employee display in the gridview.. i used the following coding
