Dec 14, 2010I have 5 textboxes and 1 button. I want when i fill 5 TextBoxes any informations , then i click that button , that button will be disabled . And then , if i focus to that 5 textboxes and fix informations again , that button is enabled .
- That mean i have to focus to that textboxes , so i program it like this :

- But nothing happen , so how to solve this problem ??? .

Jan 12, 2011What is the earliest time that a control can be focused on without causing an exception/server error? It seems that newly-created (in codebehind) controls cannot be focused on until they're added to the page (or another container on the page), but I'd like to confirm and make sure.

After the page posts back control focus is lost. What I need is to be able to set focus back to the control that was tabbed to or clicked into not the control that data was entered into.

Feb 2, 2011I have noticed that when I create a website in a network drive and use the Ajax toolkit I get :
Element 'ToolkitScriptManager' is not a known element
I also noticed that after adding the ToolkitScriptManager it doesn't add the ID in the source code, it looks like this:
<asp:ToolkitScriptManager runat="server"></asp:ToolkisScriptManager>
Is missing the ID="ToolkitScriptManager1" part.
This doesn't happen when I create the site in my local drive. Is there a workaround to this. Even if I add the missing parts, I keep getting the same error.

<asp:Content --- showed a green wavy line , and on hover displayed the above error.
Now I am having certain problems.
1. Visual Studio 2010 hangs when I try to use ToolBox.
2. Intellisense for asp.net controls is not working.
I have tried replacing web.config file (frm backup) , tried to debug - it doesnt show anything.
All other websites are working alright. Have problem with only one of the websites.

Jan 25, 2011I upgraded from VS 2008 to VS 2010 and now the AJAX elements are not recognised by the source code editor, e.g. UpdatePanel, ScriptManager, etc. I get warnings in VS and no intellisense for those elements. When I run the site, all the AJAX controls work OK though.

May 9, 2010I am using dotnetCHARTING: the dll is installed in the GAC and referenced in my web.config (all versions appear to match). The project has a reference to the dll.

The site code compiles ok, but all aspx pages using the charting library complain that the Chart tag does not exist (warning that it might be a compile error). The aspx pages do not render the charts.

Jan 25, 2011everytime the user selects a date from my datepicker the for some reason instead of staying focused on the are the date picker is in it scrolls to the top of the page.

Element 'X' Is Not A Known Element - Web Application?
Aug 23, 2010I converted a forms website into an application and everything has been working just fine until now. I keep getting the green squiggly lines and the error that Element 'X' is not a known element. This is on almost every element, Gridview, Label, Update Panel, Hyperlink Field, Bound Field, etc...
my web.config contains

so ajax and asp are viable prefixes. The very odd thing is that it is only happening on a few user controls, all other user controls are fine and the errors never show up. I have tried rebooting and everything and nothing seems to fix it. All masterpages, web paages, and about 90% of the user controls are fine, its only on a few user controls and super annoying!
