View 2 RepliesIm using a ValidatorCallOutExtender for validate a ASP:textbox, but I have the problem when the scroll is at the top of the page, everything works fine, but if the scroll is at the bottom the validatorcallout is displayed above the textbox which is assigned. I tried adding a CSS mentioned in several places, a script that runs when the page is loaded, so as to put the SetFocusOnError = "true" but nothing has worked, the error occurs in all browsers.
View 3 RepliesI've got a modal popup and when it loads contents that are taller than the browser height I am unable to scroll down to view the rest of the information. Instead the background can scroll but the popup won't, I'd like to have the popup stay in place so the users can see the bottom of the modal.

View 3 RepliesI'm trying to make a web page that only has content within the page itself. The page itself should not have scrollbars (although individual parts should have scrollbars). I want it to look very similar to how the Java API is laid out here, http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/, but without frames.
View 2 RepliesIs it possible to make a web form scroll itself down (or up) to a label, for example an error label, when it becomes visible? If yes - what's the method called?
View 2 RepliesI'm working on a ASP.Net web page with two tables positioned in the center of the page with one on top of the other. The table on top contains input fields that are dynamically generated by the code-behind, so the number of input fields varies. The table on the bottom contains content that is constant and doesn't change. The layout of the page is fixed and must remain so. My question is, how do I make the bottom table dynamically adjust vertically so that it doesn't overlap with the fields from the top table. The general HTML layout of the page is something like the following:
[code]...
I'm thinking I could wrap the bottom table in a div, but I'm not sure what specific styling will achieve the desired effect. I basically want to maintain the fixed positioning horizontally, but have the vertical alignment adjust to prevent overlap with the top.
UPDATE:
Here is a screen cap that shows the two tables overlapping. The buttons you see are in the bottom table, the fields are supposed to be on the top, all elements are positioned absolutely in the center of the browser screen.
UPDATE 2:
I updated the HTML sample above with the styles that are currently in use.
Note.Using this on master page.Ok.After trying for hours i cannot get it to work.I need the footer to stay on the bottom of the screen.This is exactly what i want but i does not work(footer stays where content ends). URL....
My page structure is this:
Code:
html,body {
font: 100%/1.4 Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: small;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
color: #000;
[code]...
i want to apply scroll in gridview....because there are many columns and it makes disorder in my design.i found code from ccodeproject and also in this site
<div id="grdCharges" runat="server" style="width:
875px; overflow: auto; height: 160px;"> [code]....
I want a browser to go full screen as soon as my page loads. Is it possible in javascript. I know the shortcut key for this F11 but requirement is on page load only.
After reading the solution provided below. I achieved full screen but here i got a trap. I was using timer to make my page postback to get fresh data after every 5 second. And here I found after every 5 sec new window opens up but I want full screen to go only once and next time content gets refreshed there itself.

I have a page that I am adding user controls to the bottom of the controls each postback. The User Control has a textbox in it and the focus needs to be on this newly created control textbox each time. It all works almost perfectly however when there are too many controls to fit on the page, because I set the focus to the textbox the bottom of the page is set to the textbox that has focus not the very bottom of the page. I have a submit button below this which ends up below the page limit. How can I set focus to a textbox but still scroll to the every bottom of the page to show the submit button.
View 1 RepliesI have a grid view where the user can change pages at either the top or the bottom of the grid view. I want the view to go back to the top whenever a user changes the page, whether they are changing from the top or the bottom. I've tried using anchors and javascript to achieve this but it does not work. The javascript is executed and the user is taken to the top of the gridview, this can be seen by placing an alert after the javascript to change the view. But the last thing that happens on the page change is that the window is returned to it's previous position (the bottom of the page). Is there any way of doing this?
