I want to put Multiple Checkboxes on a web page and I want the User to be only allowed to check one box. IE if you have 3 checkboxes number 1 to 3, if box 2 is checked then you check box 3 I want 2 to uncheck it's self.

This table defines a "Package". The "Package" can contain many different "Items" that require different controls used in the View. The "RadioGroupName" field is used to mark which RadioButtons should be grouped together. The "ViewControl" field marks which control should be used on the View to display the field. The query in my repository will return a result set such as

I have read that it is possible to use "if" conditions and looping structures inside the View. I have also read that this is a bad practice. Another issue I see is knowing which Item has been selected from each RadioButton group when I hit the Controller POST function. Previously I have built a page that has a single RadioButton group. i have a multiple page questionaire, each page has multiple questions and one page in particular has about 60 checkboxes. Whats the best way to catch all the values of the checkboxes

I needed to redesign the input page. I have in place individual checkboxes to represent fferent selections. For the database, the result for these checkboxes are in a seperate table. The insert only works for the first table which are textboxes. The information is not getting stored for the checkboxes. I have it separately eventually the checkboxes will be used for a search feature. For example, the information of the company, phone, address are getting inserted into the database but the checkboxes refering to the business is not being stored. What am I doing wrong with my code? I'm fairly new working with Javascript. I'm working on an issue where I have a GridView with multiple Checkboxes and Radiobuttons. I have a table witch i programmatically fill with(multiple) IDs in the first column, options in the second and checkboxes in the third. The table is in a View as it is part of a wizard and is filled on view_Activate.
How can i get the checked property of the checkboxes when i pass to the next view? When i try to do that on view_Deactivate the table is already 0 rows...

This morning I posted a question w.r.t Radio Buttons, but the requirement changed so I'm posing a similar question.
I want to have a checkbox in a datagrid.
Suppose I click on one of the checkboxes and then realize i need to click on another, the screen has to automatically uncheck the previously clicked checkbox and then check the newly clicked checkbox.
In other words I need to clear previously checked checkboxes and check the recently clicked checkbox.
Also, I need to update a label in the page with a value associated with the row of the checked checkbox.
I should not be using a javascript to do this.

I have 50 checkboxes that I need to write onto an aspx page. Each checkbox comes with 3 textboxes.
Example:
chkbox State Name donation new donation
chkbox CA Sam 10 15
chkbox AK Sam 15 20
Now this shall go for all 50 states, depending on which states the person wishes to donate. In each state's row shall be a checkbox. So initially the page shall have value 0.00 in donation and new donation checkboxes, but all 50 states shall be visible. When the person puts a value of donation in certain state, that state shall get "checked" value and the donation, after submitting. On reloading, the value shall be populated automatically and checkbox checked automatically.
How do I make these 50 checkboxes in VB.NET? Do I have to write the table in .aspx with 50 <tr> tags, and then have VB.NET code populate it? Can I otherwise dynamically write these checkboxes from VB.NET code?
I have an update panel in a user control and I am adding multiple instances of it for example 5.
When that update panel refreshes the page load occurs 5 times.
How can I prevent it only for once?
