I have an application that has JS calling ASMX files to do asyncronous requests, using ASP.NET AJAX.
The problem is that I use always the same "onError" function, and now I don't know how to identify the method that rised the error, and it is giving me a lot of problems to debug errors. The parameter "data" of the onError method does not give enough information, for

I find that the password can only retrieved by method GetPassword() in asp.net2.0 Membership.In fact, we can get the password when we get the user infomation from database and set it as a property of user(object of MemberhsipUser) just as user.Email, user.UserName, etc.
It's clear that adopting the second resolution(property) can reduce one trip between server and database and more convenient. But why Microsoft don't do like this? For secruity reason? Then why is it less secure to set the password as property?

I face this "Jscript runtime error: Object does not support property or method" whenever im trying to run this page. In my experience, im get this error msg 9 out of 10 times i use javascript in my system. Im using Microsoft Visual web developer 2008, i wonder if this is related to my problem, i not sure there is anything i need to add as reference or update anything. But anyway, in short, i just couldn't use javascript code when using this development tool because of this sort of error. I have to load the values to parent page from the popup page. The popup page will be in another website(saparate server).
I used opener.document.getElementById('parentcontrolID'), this is working fine if i run in the local(i created saparate virutual directory for popup page website in my local machine) system the values are loaded properly. but Once i move to the different servers it's not working. getting this javascript error message "Object doesn't support this method or property" in the popup page bottom left corner.
What will be the problem.
