Jan 6, 2011
I am trying to use Rounded Corner buttons in my ASP.NET website using AjaxControlToolkit's RoundedCornerExtender. When I use this on a Buton control, I get an error saying "htmlfile: Unexpected call to method or property access" to which I can Break/continue.
When I run the sites, it gives me an error "Unexpected call to mathod or property access".Here's the screenshot:

I have a datalist which contains only the image button.I want to add rouned corner to this image.So i have used rounded corner extender for image button.But still no rounded corner,but there was no bug.
I am having a File Uploader. In that, I am trying to assign the file uploader value to the text box. I did this in java script. But when I tried to hit the update button it leaves me an java script error saying Access is denied.
I have created my own login control (for a few reasons) and would like to surround the textboxes and label controls with a rounded corner box. How do I surround the controls with a box and then how do I make its corners rounded? Can I then create a background-color within the box? I have the AJAX toolkit installed and do know how to add extenders but I am kind of stuck on surrounding the controls.
I have an ajax call on a page which POSTS data: longitude and latitude. In the Javascript the two variables I pass in "posLong" and "posLat" are both decimals, something like: 50.81472239. When I do request.form in my .aspx.vb page which I've called, the value has now been rounded to 51.
I'm beginner in AJAX. I was developing an ASP.Net Web-Site (MVS 2008, ASP.Net version 2.0.50727), so on current step I need pop-up windows with server code functionality. I decided to try AJAX. I have downloaded the latest version AjaxControlToolkit.Binary.NET35, added dll to Bin folder, and writed code as: [Code]....
I use ScriptManager coz I can't compile project with ToolkitScriptManager. When I start web site I can't get the expected result, only I get script error message like "Object doesn't support property or method".
I am making a JSON call to web method which is defined in code behind. The web method returns a class object.The class returns 3 properties one of type list and 2 integers. I am accessing these in the following manner:
success: function(result) { alert(result); alert(result.LookCount); alert(result.length); if(result.LookCount > 0) { var Info = ""; for(var i = 0;i < result.LookUps.length; i++) { Info += CreateLookUpGrid(result.LookUps[i].Client,result.LookUps[i].ClientOrg); }
alert(result.LookCount) -> alerts undefined and when i alert result it shows me the compelte result string which has all data. So the data is returned correctly by web method. But I am unable to access it.
I have a masterpage that contains all the javascript and inside the content control, there is a link that calls a javascript function and I want to pass the id once it's rendered differently by the server.
<asp:TextBox ID="txtstart" runat="server" Width="20%"></asp:TextBox> <a title="Pick Date from Calendar" onclick="calendarPicker('<% txtstart.ClientId %>');" href="javascript:void(0);">
However, I keep getting this error:
Property access must assign to the property or use its value.
I am working on my company intranet and trying to integrate it with our existing MS Access applications.
I need to provide the ability to have the client click on a link/button from an aspx page and have it call a function in the MS access application to look up the corresponding record.
I came accross the thread [URL] but that is not really what I want as the ADP application will already be running on the client I just need to pass it a value.
Alternitively if I could start a new instance of the ADP passing it a parameter on open to find the correct record that would be a compromise.
I am using an ObjectDataSource control to call a MapInfo object. This object has two properties:
public IList Visits public int TotalAvailable
The select method returns an IList but the TotalAvailable property is also populated. I have set the TypeName in the ObjectDataSource to the MapInfo object but because the Select method only returns the IList I don't have access to the TotalAvailable.
[code]....
Is there any way to access this value. I know it is being populated in the MapInfo object but all that gets returned from the Select method is the IList
I am working on Vs2005 and asp.net 2.0. I have a solution with 4 projects (business object, components, data access, webclient)When I change any existing method or property in Business object or data access, it is not reflecting in the application. I have deleted the existing references to the project and added them after the new build. I always get errors like "method not found or No overload method "It seems like old verion of dll is still there in the reference.
how to make a stadard HTML button call an action method and pass parameters to it? Can you please show me an example of how to do this? THis is the method:
public ActionResult CCDReview([DefaultValue(1) int CUrrentPage]) { //method code is here. }
Yes, my button is wrapped in a form, and it's a "submit" button.
i have little knowledge on javascript but i need to use this code get from somewhere for a jquery to work. I face this "Jscript runtime error: Object does not support property or method" whenever im trying to run this page. In my experience, im get this error msg 9 out of 10 times i use javascript in my system. Im using Microsoft Visual web developer 2008, i wonder if this is related to my problem, i not sure there is anything i need to add as reference or update anything. But anyway, in short, i just couldn't use javascript code when using this development tool because of this sort of error. Anyway, it happen that last time i tried use the same type of jquery code in another project and it seems to work well without an error. But now when im try to use it again in this recent project i created, it come out with this error and i have no idea how to solve it even look through google and this forum. It doesn't really seems like its the code problem itself although im not sure, because any javascript code just couldn't work. So below is my code that i need to use.
If I have a web form with a button control on it. Is their a way to have it's button press method called from a Java Script method? Can someone show me how to do this?I have a hidden button on a web form. I need to simulate it being pressed programatically through Java Script. So I need Java Script to run the code behind method for a button.
protected void PageButton_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { // How to have this method called from Java Script? }
I'm receiving the following error occasionally when calling web service using a .NET 4.0 web application."The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send."All of the articles I've read regarding this issue are for the Framework 1.1.Is there any solution to this issue for using .NET framework 4.0?
