Task at hand:
I want code in VB.NET to create javascript arrays of the folder contents that can then be used on the client end. I only need arrays for all folders contained in folders starting with ad_ and an array for all the base folders . like so:
var folders=["ad_folder","ad_code","ad_prep","ad_bin"];
var ad_folder=["folderA","folderB","folderC","anotherFolder","etcfolder"];
var ad_code=["folderA","folderB"];
var ad_prep=["folderA","etcfolder"];
var ad_bin=["etcfolder"];
note that I do not know the number of or the names of the folders, they can be different in different cases, I only have the root path.

But now, I am trying to bind the repeater with different folder's images, based on which menu item is clicked like "Wedding", "Birthday". When "Wedding" is clicked then it repeater should be loaded from Wedding folder's images similarly with "Birthday".
Currently i am using following code to load from single folder.

Mar 17, 2010I have an ASp.net application using C#. I need to copy a file present on the web server machine to a remote machine on the network. Although this seems to be a trivial matter I am having difficulties copying the exe I am Trying

Z: is mapped to the Remote machine network drive. I am able to physically copy files to this drive from the Web Server machine, but when I try from ASp.net, I get the following error System.Io.Exception: Logon Failure: unknown user name or bad password
I think it has to do with the Web Server using the ASPNET user , which does not have the right credentials on the remote machine. I do not know how to solve this issue I tried using WMI too, I was able to copy files from one directory to another directory on the remote machine, but not from the Web Server machine to Remote machine

I have an .net web form that upload an excel file to my server. I would like for this Excel file to be upload to my SQL server since it need to be process by a sql command and the SQL server cannot seems to be able to access the IIS7 when running the quary i needed. All i want to be able to do is to load this excel file to a folder within the SQL server.Here is my web.config folder path -

i have a remote FTP server with a file called log.txt on it, i wish to allow web users to download this file to their local drive to a designated folder.
i have a function calling this sub i found on the web with the filename to download.when trying to run this code i get this error:
" Could not find a part of the path 'C: empFtpDownloadsFolderlog.txt'. "

i get no error but the file is not in the TempPath. (it shows it to be saved to "C:WindowsTEMPlog.txt" )

Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides. However the path is exatly right, I can copy and paste that and go directly to the csv.
