Mar 22, 2010I'm using this Ajax script [URL] to load content from an aspx page on another server than the page calling the content. So far I've learned that this is a no go. The problem seems to be that when using an absolute link to content the script fails as apposed to using a relative link.
I've searched the web for about 10 hours now, and I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Javascript - Calling Multiple JQuery Functions In Page?
Aug 16, 2010I have a page with three HTML labels and their corresponding ASP.NET gridviews contained within divs. Now while learning jQuery, I am trying to achieve two things:1. Change the css class of the lables upon mouse hover/out.2. Slide up/down the grid div upon clicking of the labels.It looks to be working as expected, but I wish to know if I am doing it the right way.My complete jQuery code is:

Cannot Refresh The Page After Calling Server Side Code Using Javascript
Apr 4, 2011I am using Ajax's EnablePageMethods way to call server side code using javascript. The problem is that in IE8 the page automatically refreshes after the ajax call has been completed i.e. the server side function has been executed successfully. I want the same to happen with Chrome and Firefox but it doesnt refresh the page once the server side function has been executed.

Mar 24, 2010I have a GridView and a FormView on the same page. They both have separate DataSources. This is a simple Master Details configuration, when a someone clicks on the Select link in the GridView, the FormView brings up the Details data. But for some reason the FormView's DataSource is trying to retrieve data when I load the page. This is causing an error because no ID is passed from the GridView.

Aug 4, 2010When we include Javascript files in our aspx files. either we write all the Javascript code in the Head section of aspx or we link to an external Javascript file.
So when the clinet makes a call to that page. Does that mean that all the Javascript will be loaded on the client side?
If that is the case then does not that mean that it will slow down the loading of page as all the Javascript has to be loaded on the client machine?

What I want to do is call a web page from another page and some how execute either the page load event or page init event and get the result of the page in the first page.

Sep 14, 2010I want a browser to go full screen as soon as my page loads. Is it possible in javascript. I know the shortcut key for this F11 but requirement is on page load only.
After reading the solution provided below. I achieved full screen but here i got a trap. I was using timer to make my page postback to get fresh data after every 5 second. And here I found after every 5 sec new window opens up but I want full screen to go only once and next time content gets refreshed there itself.
