Can Apply Tablerow Click To All Cells But One

I have an ASP.NET page that uses a repeater to populate a grid. There will eventually be a dozen or so columns, one of which is a linkbutton that does a postback (it removes the row). The rest of the row I want to be clickable and navigate to the specified url I set up at runtime.

I have a form that contains a asp:Table and it contains 2 rows with 6 columns.
Also on my form is a gridview. It contains one row with 6 columns. (see pic)
I'd like to see if I can format both so that they appear to have the same over-all width and cell width too.
I'd like to know if it's possible to do this in the source view - rather than programmatically.
In the pic, the top is the grid view and underneath is the table.

i am able to click on the ImageButton and apply the Jquery highlight effect to a different div

Now i would like to extend the question as follows. I add the ImageButtons to the webpage dynamically, and i would like to apply the effect on the div for every ImageButton click.

I am using the following to retrieve selected value of a gridview

I'm iterating through a collection of asp:tablerows to be able to get or set the text in a textbox that is nested in the third cell of the row; I'm doing this by type rather than by ID because the cell ID's in that column aren't totally consistent--thus I can't really call FindControl() to achieve this. I've resorted to casting the third control in the TableRow to a TableCell and then Casting the first control in that cell to a TextBox. Not quite correct, as I'm getting an index out of range exception thrown. The problem mainly lies in the Controls.Count() property of the third cell, which comes to zero. Not sure if there's a better way to access the textbox---should I resort to FindControl()?

My searches here only yielded use of FindControl(), so that may be the only way...

I want to create a TableRow with a TextBox. I want when click a Button a TableRow add to asp:table. in Button_Click event code I can add a row by a TableRow & TableCell & TextBox Objects and with help a HiddenField. My problem is that: after add first row that has a textbox, next row doesn't add by click button. I think Controls delete after post back in server and first textbox delete and new textbox add same position. what is solution after every click, a row with textbox add to the table?

I would like to be able to toggle all checkboxes in a tablerow base upon the value of the first checkbox.

I have a composite user control consisting of three standard table cells (a legend, an image with a tool tip, and a text field control). If I add these to a TableRow in my aspx page it works fine and produces legal HTML in my source. The below works fine ...

However when I try to do the same programmatically (C#) the TableRow won't accept anything in its Controls collection that isn't a TableCell. I could make my control a nested table in its own right but I lose the alignment of my form items on the page with multiple controls, as each table aligns itself according to its contents. Is there anyway I can make the TableRow accept my control as collection of cells or do I need to do some casting or making my user control inherit some kind of TableCell attributes? I can also dynamically add my controls to a TableCell item which actually displays OK in IE but creates illegal HTML (<td><td></td><td> ... </td></td> - I assume this is illegal) in my resulting source. The code below DOES NOT work ...

I'm relatively new to ASP, so this may be a simple fix that I am just not figuring out (here's hoping!). I am working in VisualStudio2010 using C#.
Basically, I have a table in SQL with the following columns: Product, ProductGroup, Attribute1Value, Attribute2Value, Attribute3Value
For each ProductGroup, the Attribute definition is different. For instance, in ProductGroup1, Attribute1 is Size and Attribute1Value might be 2,3,5, etc. In ProductGroup2, Attribute1 is Quality and the Attribute1Values would be Standard, Economy, Premium, etc.
I will only ever pull in one Product Group at a time and would like to have my column headers reflect the Attribute definition (Header= Size rather than Attribute1Value when applicable".
What I would like to do is pull in a gridview that is invisible with the columns ProductGroup, Attribute1, Attribute2, Attribute3 and then assign the values within the column to be variables that I can use to reassign my column headers. I have been able to set column headers based on other variables (specifically the selected value from a dropdown), but am having trouble with the code to set variables equal to gridview values.

Although I'm a total novice at building web pages, I figured the best way to learn is to do it. I've used a master page and, so far, all the basic information pages work OK.
My problem starts when I have several options for the same Content Holder. Is it possible to use clickable cells to show various *.html files in a different row in the same table.
I can show an image using a script but not a file.

I'd like to upload an excel file from a user into a SQL database, then capture certain cells and insert them into a table in the database. I can't upload the file to the server due to restrictions, but I can upload it into a database field. I've seen examples on how to read cells from an uploaded excel file on the server, but how do you read cells from an excel file stored in the database? I'm using visual studio 2005 and SQL server 2008. Can this be done by reading from a stream?

I've a asp:Calendar control and to each date, dynamically when the calendar renders i'm adding a checkbox next to it.
The user can check and uncheck the checkbox , based on that i need to send the checked dates to my database.
