I got 2 folder, one is "Lectures" where only lecture can login, and another is "Students" where only students can login. and i use role-based authorization. but the problem is i only can assign one value for defaultUrl in web.config, if i assign it to "~/Lectures/Default.aspx" and this make lecture can login without any problem, but when student login, the student will stuck at login page, so any idea to change defaultUrl in web.config through C#???
I am implementing forms based authentication but based on some condition I want to use FormsAuthentication.DefaultUrl to point to different default pages dynamically. Is there a way to do so?
In our application we are using forms authentication, we have given defaulturl also in the config file. But the problem is that it is not getting redirected to the default url when the session timeout is occuring.

to create a bulk edit gridview so some columns are automatically editable and others aren't, with a single update button. I can set Status="Retired" in the xml generated, or as a rule in database table. I've a gridview with one textbox column and 1 label.
Based on language selection im changing master page and gridview will be bind with data based on language from database . When change the language the labels will be binding with data based on language . but textbox value is not binding properly.i.e;for example  i've 2 languages English and Arabic . First i've logged with English Language gridview is binding correctly after chnage language to Arabic the textbox value is not binding is displaying with data previously whatever binded with english language. Other than this textbox remaining  label data bindind with data in arabic language.

When I update a js file in my asp.net project, I refresh the browser and the change shows up as expected. If I change a css file or an .aspx file, the change does not show in the browser. Not when I clear the browser's cache, not when I restart IIS (iisrestart). What could this possibly be?
I am working on a web site for an optical company. The company works with people that have minor visual impairment up through major impairment, some requiring special equipment in order to view web pages.
Because of the diverse client requirements, we are planning to make available, an option which allows the client, at the time of viewing, to select (stored in a cookie, option hooked to an ASP.NET checkbox) that will make the text size on the page larger and remove some of the pictures that are not required.
The text size is set in the DIV tag, Style "font-size: ##". What I want to do is when the checkbox is unchecked the page will use a normal size and when it's checked the ASP.NET page will change to a larger font. I am not sure how to change a DIV tag (client-side) with a server-side call.
One person elsewhere recommended that I dynamically create the div tag server-side (Response.Write()) but I don't want to use that if there is another way. Just seems like it will be more overhead when whats needed.

In the English website the price will be in $ Currency because the the localization setting is set as "en-US". In the Arabic website the price will be in Ù„.Ù„ Currency because the the localization setting is set as "ar-LB". how to format this code:
