I am displaying some query results in a div (table format). Is it possible to do pagination in vb.net in a div . Because i am not using any list view or data repeater or data grid control.

My application I am using pagination.Using pagination i bind the records with listview control.
I generate the buttons dynamically according to the number of pages which is calculated from number of records returned from dataSource.when i click on a dynamically generated button its corresponding event handlers methods should get evaluated.Since asp.net page is stateless I can't keep the state of that dynamic controls after any postback.
Just Now I have seen the Article "How to get the Id of Control that cause postback in asp.net?". I got some idea from that article. Any example for "Creating link buttons dynamically and handling its corresponding event handler in Asp.Net".

So I have a website that I recently made changes to, and one of the changes was removing a page from the site. I deleted the page, it doesn't exist anymore.
However, when you search for my site, one of the results is the page that I deleted. People are clicking on the page and getting an error.
How do I remove that page from the search results?

I have an online application that all of its pages use HTTPS. I have 3 questions:
Does Google index HTTPS pages?I have a password protected single ASP.NET page (using HTTPS). Password protection is basically achieved by a Session object. When the correct password is entered, it hides the login panel and displays the same page which has a sensitive data. Is this page indexed by Google?
I have a Secure folder that I implemented Forms Authentication. All pages in folder use HTTPS as well. Are the pages in this folder indexed by Google?
I have learned recently that I can stop Google bots looking at some pages via the robots.txt file.Great got that sorted out.However how can I stop the crawler or bot from scanning some text on my page. But reading other parts just fine.For example I have a large legal disclaimer on each page,and I have seen that via google web master tools that my keywords are all out of the disclaimer.Cant have that!
Can I turn off a control or label to crawlers eyes?? Any ideas..I cant move disclaimer to a single page as then it looses effect.

I think that is it Watson..I ASSUME I can place these google on and off tages around a label or hidden field that has TEXT in it.
I have a page showing user records in GridView. Users can do paging, sorting, filtering all on the page. All records inside GridView have typical edit and delete buttons. When user click Edit button I load complete record on the next page which user can edit and save. When user save record how can I send user back to the GridView page displaying the same record which user has editing. I means if I simply use Response.Redirect and send user back the page with GridView load again with first page of the grid and user can't see the same record which user has edited after moving forward few pages in the GridView.
Also when user save record on the editing page. Why user need to press browser back button twice to go back to GridView page? I think if I can create a link or button on the editing page which can send user two pages back by playing with browser history or javascript my problem can solve.
I have used Google Plus one in my web pages in my website. I have used this in a User Control Page and called this .ascx page into my all .aspx page. I have used the code like below:

It is working fine in my pages except 2 pages in which it is not showing. When i see the view source of the page then i find the above javascript and HTML code. I have called 6 methods on the page load of these 2 pages. what is the reason of Google Plus one not showing on my this 2 pages. what i will have to do to show Google Plus one on my this 2 pages. I have an inventory page with a gridview that shows 1 item per record, each item starts with a checkbox in the gridview. Currently users can select multiple records and hit the order button and everything has worked well. Now I have multiple pages in my gridview, and if a user selects a few records from the first page, and then goes to the second page, all the records (checked checkboxes) disappear from the first page.

Working in ASP.NET (VB), I am trying to develop a simple search results page for my website.
The process is as follows:
(1) The site's user enters a search phrase;
(2) The search results page searches the site's database, returns the page title as a link, and a short snippet from each search "hit", with the search phrase highlighted.
I already have the search part done, and also the "highlighted" part done (using Regex). However, I want to be able to return a short snippet of text, which include the search phrase (a few words before the search phrase, a few after). Something like:
Page Title [as a link]
I'm wondering what would be the best solution for hidding a folder like for example "AdminFolder", and also .aspx pages inside this folder.
I have several pages inside "AdminFolder" which I (as "Administrator" :) ) plan to use for some background work on daily basis! I am using Membership shema and no one except me can not / or should not acces this area, but I'am afraid if web crawlers like google find and expose this part of my page in searching results!

I'm trying to add Google Adword conversion code script to certain aspx pages in our website but I'm running into an issue with the site using master pages. The Google instruction said to place the code before the body tag but with master pages being used the code will be on all the pages using the master page. I would like setup it up where certain pages use individual conversion codes with others not using anything. Any suggestions or examples would be appreciated. Also, I'm using C#.

I have another post on formatting arrays [URL], thinking that would be the way.. and may be it is.. But let me explain it here and see if thats where i need to focus. I have a class that i use to call 3 different procedures, the values from proc#1 are passed to proc#2 and then proc#2 values passed on to proc#3. Now my problem is that i need the results from proc#3 to be placed in a variable i can pass on to another procedure to execute a query.
Proc#1 returns only 1 record. (easy to place into a session or variable)
Proc#2 returns only 1 record. (easy to place into a session or variable)
Proc#3 returns multple records(its only 1 field that is returned, but can have multiple records), so i need to know what is the best solution to place all records returned into a session or variable to use as a parameter in a query?
Since i need to pass those values to a stored procedure, how can i pass what is returned from proc#3 to my query? One of the parameter of the store procedure is our locations, so my query will look like this:

From tblName
Where loc LIKE ('1','2','3' )
So i want to set it up so that the values within the LIKE statement are passed in from the page like so

pull data from 3 databases, same query with the same result set (data can vary) and i want to combine those results in to a single datareader so i can easily dump it to a gridview.
