I am getting the "Unable to convert MySQL date/time value to System.DateTime" error because from what I can tell I have a record with 0000-00-00 00:00:00. Now while the data should never be that (it should be null) there are cases when this might happen and I don't want my entire application to crash because of it. I am using NHibernate and I tried adding change my connection string to allow zero datetime so the connection string configuration looks like:
<property name="connection.connection_string"> Server=localhost;Database=user_system;User ID=root;Password=root; Allow Zero Datetime=true; </property>
However I still receive that error. How can I allow NHibernate to allow zero values for timestamp/datetime/data/time?
I am a newbie and have designed a website using ASP .Net 2.0 with C# 2005. On the home page I am displaying rates of a few items which gets updated every 15 minutes. The new rates are entered through a different web page into a SQL Table and I am using Page Refresh of the home page to update the rates every 15 minutes. Everything is working ok upto this. But now I have to display a countdown timer of time remaining for the next update on the home page. I am totally clueless as how to approach the problem.
I want to show countdown time in the status bar of browser like: You session will timeout in 40:00 minutes. You session will timeout in 39:99 minutes. I mean it should countdown to 0 and popup a window if user click Popup's Ok button then it should show a redirected page. No ajax support required. I want manually coding therefore I am not allowed to write anything in web.config also.
i used below code for date time picker validation but it's not working.
Actually I want a date time picker which date dd/mm/yyyy format date. With validation for start and end date. Also for manual entry it should take only no. and for date rest like / or, will be auto formatted.means user should not be able to enter it.
I am generating report through report viewer.. I want show my record which date i select but it cant select data from date which are giving it taking system date to display data...
Example: I select 2013-11-15 it does not showing any data but when i change my system date to 15 it is showing data...
I am filtering dataview using my Date Column but the result is not proper because the Field value also stores time, so I want to convert this Date Field to only Date during Filter. How can I achieve this? Here is my code. And the actual value I am getting in the Dataset Field "CreationDate" is a DateTime field which is like
How to get the date at which a record is created in SQL?..i.e, if i add a record to a database table db1 at 8/10/2010 11:30, I want to get the datetime, i.e 8/10/2010 11:30..;.Also let me know how to compare datetime values..
if(8/10/2010 11:30 >8/10/2010 10:30) will work or not?
Here what i am trying to accomplish. I want to have a div or panel on the page and have some text on it. The div or panel must hava a specfied time limit and then disaaper from the page. Say i want this text to apper on 10Cotober 10.00 and disapper from the page on 11October 18.00.
I'm using Telerik's RadScheduler Control with WebService Binding.
I've used RadScheduler with Server Side Binding which has an event called "OnTimeSlotCreated" which fires every time when a particular time slot creates so that i can access the time slot and get the control (HtmlTableCell Control) to modify it according to the requirement.
But now i'm binding it from client side through WebService which has no such "onClientTimeSlotCreated" event, also these time slots are not having any identity at client side to access.
I am doing my project in ASP.NET and wanted to know how to separate the Date part of a date time object and also perform date related operations like finding a day 3 days before that date..
I am using this datetimepicker by Trent Richardson, I can get the date time picker to work, however after the date is changed i need it to be put into a hidden asp.net control that is in an update panel.
So how can i make it so everytime the user changes the date and time it is sent to a label.
I am working on a website in asp.net in which I want to integrate the GMT time facility which will be remain the same on all the system. for that I want the syncronized time of system, which can not be changed by the user.I dont want to get the time on the server computer. It should be the time on client computer.
I am thinking to have a standardize date format for all the Date Time in the system when display to user and also for user input. For example YYYY-mm-DD HH:mm:ss .Does the Standardize date format for date timewill cause error by different clent local pc date format? The way i capture the datetime format from user input is :
dim dteDateTime as DateTime dteDateTime=txtDateTime.tex
If the above format is not correct?Does anyone has idea on the correct way to standarize the Date Time format for all the ASP.NET system?
1) i have a databse file on microsoft access. and i want to add system date in my databse using c#, what is the method to do this?
2) i m new in asp.net , i m making a demo application and storing a record of a person. there is a column of Date of birth. i used "datetime" data type for this column, because it have check on dates like i can't enter 29-02-2011, since its an invalid date. but problem with that it contain time with it, which should not be mentioned in date of birth column. plz guide me which data type shoul i use?
or if i simply use text data type and then add "regular expression" in textbox, then what regular expression should be used to have a check on invalid dates. remember i m not asking about the format of date, i m asking about invalid and valid dates.
I'm using a content management system whose admin interface uses MVC 1.0. I would like to build the public parts of the site using MVC 2.
If I just reference System.Web.Mvc version 2 in my project the admin mode doesn't work as the reference to System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage created by the views in the admin interface is ambiguous:
The type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage' is ambiguous: it could come from assembly 'C:WindowsassemblyGAC_MSILSystem.Web.Mvc2.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35System.Web.Mvc.dll' or from assembly 'C:WindowsassemblyGAC_MSILSystem.Web.Mvc1.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35System.Web.Mvc.dll'. Please specify the assembly explicitly in the type name.
I could easily work around this by using binding redirects to specify that MVC 2 should always be used. Unfortunately the content management systems admin mode isn't compatible with MVC 2. I'm not exactly sure why, but I start getting a bunch of null reference exceptions in some of it's actions when I try it and the developers of the CMS have confirmed that it isn't compatible with MVC 2 (yet).
The admin interface which is accessed through domain.com/admin is not physically located in webroot/admin but in the program files folder on the server and domain.com/admin is instead routed there using a virtual path provider. Therefor, putting a separate web.config file in the admin folder to specify a different version of System.Web.Mvc for that part of the site isn't an option as that won't fly when using shared hosting.
Perhaps it's possible to specify that for some assemblies a different version of a referenced assembly should be used?
