Dec 24, 2010I have a link button in a repeater control. the li element is drag and droppable using jquery. when the page loads the the link button works perfectly, the jquery that is attached and the server side code both execute. when I perform a drag and drop then click on the link button it doesnt not fire. when i click it a second time it does fire. If i perform 2 or drag and drops in a row the link button doesnt fire a as many drag adn drops as i before it will fire. for example if if perform 3 drag and drops then it will take about 3 click before the events are fired.

Nov 23, 2010I have a button which has a click event but its not firing on the first click. I suspect its something to do with that i am in dropdown box control so when i click the Button the event for the dropdown box occurs (textChanged) but it forgets about the click event
Of course if i click it a second time it works.
Or if i click somewhere else first so that the event TextChange occurs and then click the Button the first time it executes..
Is this normal and what are more workarounds if any?
basically the TextChange event must fire but the button click event must fire as well.
All the events i am talking about are ASP.NET events.

1. I need to load a user control on link click event of a link button during postback of aspx page.
2. On button click event of a save button on that aspx page, I need to read the selected values from that user control on further postback.
If I write the loadcontrol code in link_click event, the control is not recognized at all in the button_click event. When I shift it to page_init and execute only during not postback, the user control loads with default values.

I am able to specify one button using the code below by adding the onkeydown event to the body of the page and checking for Enter's keyCode

I tryed to debug and noticed that, in fact, both evetns always get fired starting first with Button_SessionStartOrEnd_StartSessino and then Button_SessionStartOrEnd_EndSessino.
