iam using the ReportViewer Control in Visual Studio 2008 for displaying the report on the page. When iam going to Click on Print button iam getting the below error. Unable to load client print control
I have googled and searched the forums for an answer to this but nothing seems to fit.
I have installed the SP1 release of SQL 2008 Report Viewer Distributable and the SP1 of 2005 as well. My report viewer control is pointing at version 9.0.0.0 in the page references and web.config.
The problem is when clicking on the print icon i get the ActiveX control install prompt, click install it disappears briefly and I then get the "Unable to load client print control error". This is happening on my development machine.
Under the C:WINDOWSDownloaded Program Files folder i have a control with the name {0D221D00-A6ED-477C-8A91-41F3B660A832} I have tried removing this and allowing the ActiveX to install again, but this has made no difference.
I have the "Unable to load print control" on two live web servers so want the control working on my development machine before i tackle the issue on the servers.
after updating sqlserver2005Express to sp3 on our server (IIS and sqlserver2005 on the same machine with windowsserver2003 installed), we now receive the "unable to load client print control" on all clients from our aspx-application, built with vwd2008.It worked fine before the sp3 update. The rsclientprint.cab file resides in ...Microsoft SQL ServerMSSQL.2Reporting ServicesReportserverin.I read through hundreds of posts and for my understandig it is important to have the right version of the rsclientprint.cab file. So I (again) updated the reportserver redestributebals2005 and 2008. After that I expected to have a new (version of) rsclientprint.cab file in the .in directory, but this file wasn't installed.
I've got a web app developed in VS 2008, using the .net 3.5 framework.Within the app I've got the reportviewer control. It's pointing to a report built in VS 2005 as my server uses SQL Server 2005, and therefore Reporting Services 2005.When I click the print button on the report viewer toolbar I get "Unable to load client print control".When I go to the report directly (http://servername/reports) and click the print button from there it works.I assume that it's to do with the versions I'm using. I do have the report viewer 2008 installed on the server.What's the best way to fix it? I'd rather not develop the app in VS 2005, but will if that's the only way.

there is a RSClient.cab which we would need to install to get the print control running in every client but then all the clients in the organization would not have a the admin rights to install it.
Initially after deploying SSRS 2005 report on server, the client machine could not avail print functionality because of the error "Unable to load client print control". Inspite of allowing ActiveX installation, the print functionality was not working. Googling on this issue I found that rsclientprint.dll needs to be registered in C:Windowssystem32.successfully registering this dll, print functionality started working on some machines. However on some machines it started giving the error 'Error loading resource library.(0x8007007E)'.
This is bizarre and seems like a bug to me.Using a table in SSRS, I have a details row, with a parent group and finally a header row. For my header row, I am referencing a particular cell in the parent group.I am doing this so that i can have the header row repeat on each page of the group.his works fine when I'm not in Print Layout mode. However, when i switch to print layout mode, or print the report itself, the data that is presented on the screen is different then what is presented when not in print layout mode. WHAT THE F*!@!?? I've been battling this for a while now and i'm at my wits end. Has anyone else experienced different results from when you are in print layout mode as opposed to being in print layout mode?
Now I am printing the data from model in mvc. I am also printing the documents, How I upload file how to print that particular documents which is related that particular user with the other data...

I have the following code that from a click of a button will create a PDF of a .rdlc report. It works great but I have to have a reportviewer setup on the page in order for it to work.
Is there anyway via VB code to PDF the report without having to incorporate a reportviewer on the screen? What happens if I have a report with more than 1 tableadapter configured in it?
Also, how can the code be set to Print the report without a reportviewer?
I have this rdlc report which i created in visual studion, set it's datasources, etc.. when i publish the web application to the local iis on my machine if i print the report i will see a print dialog(correct behaviour) but then when i published the application to a hosting server i cannot at all print the report, at first i used to get a javascript error with "access denied as error message" and on top of the screen download active x control,was able to donwload the atcive x control but now when i click print dialog i get internet exploer has stopped working.
I'm currently using report viewer controller 8.0 in my WSS 3.0 site. But i don't have the print button. I tried by property ShowPrintButton property. But it didn't work.
I have installed sql server 2008 express and reporting services. After installation of sql reporting services, im not able to see reports related virtual directory in iis and not able to see the report manager.
I have configured the virtual directory through using Report service Configuration tool too but still im not able to run the report manager [URL]. how to run the SSRS 2008 reporting services report manager?
I have a problem while printing rdlc report (local). The number of pages of the report in viewer is fewer than that in the print. This leads to a problem while printing the report from - to a particular page. For eg: The report viewer shows 9 pages while viewing but when I go for print it prints 14 pages. The data is not lost but records from page 1 are transfered to page 2 while printing.
In asp.net website, i am using crystal report. My question is very generic i.e. How it is possible to display client side (browser) date and time?
Actually in my case our website is going to hosted at India, while that site is used by user's at SWEDEN.
Now the problem is that when user request for report then it is displaying server side date time because i have used PRINTTIME control of crystal report. But user should have date and time of their PC. because that time is basically a report generates date time.

I am using crystal report (.rpt) files to view data in my asp.net (c#) project. I want that when i view my report heading show "ABC" but when i print the same report from crystal report viewer button, it print "XYZ" instead of "ABC".
