Now I use HttpContext.GetLocalResourceObject("~/A.aspx") in A.aspx.cs, and it works fine. But if I use HttpContext.GetLocalResourceObject("~/A.aspx") in B.aspx.cs, it throws an exception:

I want to read the local resources from an external page, and I don't want to read the .resx file myself.
In my case, there're some "data.xml" files(they are in different directories, and have elements like [Code].... and the contents of them will be rendered as html.
But the key names in the data.xml should be localized before rendering (different data.xml contain different keys).
For example, the data.xml has such an element: [Code].... " in the [Code].... folder, then use the [Code].... for each data.xml to retrieve the localized key names. That way Idon't need to read the xml myself. Is it possible?

It works under VS 2010 development server, in .aspx file:

It does not work under win 2003, iis 6, in .aspx file, after deployment from web setup(.msi):
<%= GetLocalResourceObject("Title") %>
Same .dll, with same resources names in it (e.g. namespance.pagename.aspx.resource). Does not : iis restart, reinstalling, restarting computer. Resourcekey exists in resource file. There is resource in .dll.
The exception message: "System.InvalidOperationException: The resource class for this page was not found. check if the resource file exists and try again."
Control's "meta:resourcekey" does not work too. Here is no exception. Just no text.
When the FormView is in Edit mode, ddlCategory is populated as expected by calling GetCategories(), which returns a List of categories. However, when the ListView is in Insert mode, ddlCountry is empty. I put a break point in GetCountries(), but it never gets called. If I change the name of the method, I get an error. So it recognizes the method at compile time, but does not call it at run time. I'm guessing this is an embedded binding issue of some kind, but I'm hoping someone can save me a lot of time by pointing out the solution.
I am loading the autocomplete extender properly but I need the PK from the selectedValue. I have looked at other examples and they do NOT show how to drill into the tabcontainer, then drill into the listview, and then locate the extender value. Here is what I have so far. My "TABCONTAINER" value shows the extender correctly but I am unable to locate it.
I've created a multiple uploadfile user control - upload_multiple_files.ascx:

which has an update panel ID = up_upload_multiple_files this user control will be placed inside a modalpopupextender. My question is when I click in any button AddFile, RemvFile, Upload there's a postback so the page is reloaded and the modalpopupextender disapears Is there a way to to troubleshoot this?
I have a boolean / bit value in the database called "is_paid". Depending on this value I want to Disable a button. (the same would go for example to set a textbox not Visible, but anyway)
What I want is to Disable the button, if my boolean is 1 (true).
First I tried to convert my boolean value to text:

So another trial I did was to CAST the data from the database to be the text that I want, like so:

I'm trying to add and edit an image which is located in a detailsview which is inside an UpdatePanel. After I read relevant topics in the forum I installed the Ajax Control Toolkit. Below is my source code. When I used it only for insert new image it worked great. The problem caused when I tried to implement it on the Edit mode, i.e. when I tried to edit the image and upload a different image. Unfortunately it didn't work as I hoped. Nothing happend and the image hasn't been changed. I also tried to change the IDs (AsyncFileUpload ID) to be the same in both places but it didn't work either.

Inside that template, I've defined a couple of server controls with their properties = '<%# Bind("colName") #>'.
I have a literal inside each datagrid item. When the datagrid binds I set the literal equal to a small javascript script (a third party source). It works great. when I update my update panel the javascript is lost. I know this is a known issue. From googling they recommend you use:
ScriptMananger.RegisterStartupScript
However this renders the javascript at the bottom of the page. I need it inside my datagrid items. Is there a way that I can register my javascript to my literal control?
I've got a textbox being used to enter a password inside a wizard control. I'm trying to get a password strength meter working with it.
Unfortunately, the password box isn't visible until step 4 and this means that I can't register the event handler onload() and putting some JS next to the PW box to register the event handler doesn't seem to fire. I'm guessing this is due to the contents of the wizard being loaded through an AJAX postback.
I have a masterpage and inside that masterage is a user control that has a toolbar with a save button. I then have an aspx page that inherits form t he master page. In that page I have and updatepanel. Is it possible to set the post back trigger to the Save button inside the usercontrol?
I am using Visual Studio 2005, and running my application from inside it, directly using its development application server.
If I set a breakpoint inside Application_Start and one inside Session_Start, the latter is reached first, and I honestly think it should be the other way around.
