2.0 -how To Include Files Containing Server-side Code

I want to be able to load a customized log in page depending on a couple of parameters passed into the querystring.Each customized login page needs to be able to dynamically display log in errors and possibly have other variables passed in.
Let's say the dynamic login page looks like this (over-simplification here):

If the aspx page loads the file like this:
Response.writefile("path/to/custom/page");
the code shows up in the output and doesn't get processed. I have tried other ways to load the file contents (something similar to classic ASP includes) but get the same results every time.I could have all the custom pages set up as user controls, but I need 100% control over the css, js, and html - and the documentation I read here indicates that I won't have that level of granularity.link textPLUS - I'm stuck in a .net 2.0 environment - so .NET MVC is not available to me
I'm currently working on a CMS in which the whole page is created in runtime according to DB configuration, and I want to include a file (the name of the file is also extracted from the DB) in runtime.
I'm trying to add dynamic content to my page from external files, but coming short on how to do it properly. First i tried fiddling with the WebClient class, but when i added the dynamic content it just posted the code behind.. Actually the same as Response.WriteFile does
It's for a simple CMS where i have the basic site core and then some extra modules that i have lying in a seperate folder. If the parsing of the requested url demands a modulefile, the idea was to search for that file and if it existed, run the code and post it back to the site core.
In classic i was forced to manually (ugh..) add includes with the filenames statically written in the file-property.. That could be the way to do it again, but is there another way? Something like server.execute in classic, i just need to be able to send site core variables to the external file (without sessions if possible)
I like the idea of using Include files so that I can create various versions of individual parts of a site and decide in code which to display. I used:
<%Response.WriteFile("contentcontent.aspx")%>
to include a content.aspx file within my default.aspx page.
I would like to include a Left.aspx, Main.aspx and Right.aspx file inside the content.aspx file. I tried using the reponse.writefile function but noticed when I debug the website that the text "reponse.writefile..." displays instead of the code contained within the referenced file(s).
in a form i have a buttoin, when click both OnclientClick and postback should happen. on clicking the "Email" button a client side "mailto" tag should do the work and pull a new message window on the client's machine.
whereas, the email addresses should be invoked by the post back. so , when clicking the button the server side post should happen and on return the client side script should be invokded with the values read during post back, and populate all the email addresses.
i need know how to first do a server hit take the values and then execute the client script with those values without using AJAX
If I have a standard HTML textbox: I can retrieve the value using Request.Form. But how do I go about populating this textbox from the server-side? I tried Request.Form["txtTest"] = "blah"; but got a readonly error.
I have an asp.net button, that when clicked calls a code behind function. The function does some evaluation, and then I want to call javascript from within this asp.net function.
I know that I can receive an javascript object from the server via ASP.NET AJAX using Json. But I am not sure how can I send an javascript object from my client-side javascript to my server-side code. And if I can, how can I extract this object in my server-side code and access its members?
downloading multiple files from the server side through the browser (i.e. Chrome) I've debbuged it the foreach iterates fine but it only downloads the first file.

I need the user to be able to upload multiple files to my server, thus I am using the SWFUpload utility. SWFUpload sends the files one by one, and I need to store them all in the same temporary directory. My ASP.NET handler recieves the files one by one and I can store the file appropriately.
My problem is: How do I know which files belong to the same upload? Rephrased, how do I connect the files in my handler?

I know about SWFUpload, how can i configure it with ashx on server side.
any tutorial how i can use FLASH objects to transfer files from client to server. i been looking for such tutorial for a while that uses flash object on client side and sends file info using bytes array to the server. also i want to reduce the size of the file on the client side before sending to safe bandwidth.
basically my client side is pure HTML/CSS/Jquery and Javascript using Ajax and my server side is ASP.NET with C# and most ASHX
When the user selects the list of files from a page and hit's download selected, then a post back happens to server and starts zipping on the server. This works great until we hit the timeout on the page ( which is default to 90 seconds ) and just returns the process to the page even though the backend process is still zipping. Is it possible to show the size of zip file when the file is being zipped instead of waiting till the end to provide the download link?
i am added one button on user control it is working fine locally but not working on server my error is CS1061: 'ASP.templates_categories_productsingrid_ascx' does not contain a definition for 'dl_viewall' and no extension method 'dl_viewall' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.templates_categories_productsingrid_ascx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
I've been using code behind files since day one. Now, I have this funky example that uses inline code. How do I use inline code that needs to be executed in Page_Load() while VS still gives me a code behind page? Do I remove the Page_Load event from code behind file?
Is the classic way of using include files still the best practice in ASP.NET. IS there a better way in ASP.NET to simulate include files? IF not can someone please provide an example of the .NET way?
I have a button where I use an Animation Extender. When I click the button I have to set OnClientClick="return false;" otherwise the Animation Extender closes. So that causes my problem. How do I execute server side code from this button? I have tried this code in my code behind, but there is an error:

I have a async file upload control and I am doing client side validation for Image."OnClientuploadstarted" I am doing the client side validation.My validation is working fine but my problem is that the file upload control text box goes green (i.e file is loaded on the server) even if the validation fails which is I dont want.What I want is when the client side validation fails the file does not gets loaded on the server and the Async file upload textbox does not goes green.I have goggled but have not found a suitable solution.

I am currently using some $common functions, like getContentSize() and so on.
Looking at the source code it seems to me that all the paths have been changed, but i cannot understand the right namespace to use with the latest release.
