I'm creating a repository and service layer in my app, and my repo has a very simple function

Now in my Service layer I've got a function like this

But i can't figure out how to add And r.isActive = True
When I want to get the output values its okay but I also want returning a table as a result data.But Datareader has no rows.is it possible if I want a returning query result and multiple output values togather ?I wrote a test above.I can get output values as sqlparameters. But Datareader attached to a Gridview is empty.can you detect whats wrong here and it doesnt return a query result.So stored procedure is not standart or ı am doing something wrong.this doesnt raise any exception.but not returning any data.
I'm trying to call an action method in an MVC application using jQuery. Basically what I want is to take the value of a couple of input fields and call the action method by clicking a button, passing the values of the input fields as parameters. But I only get the value of the "number" parameter, not the "year" parameter.

I checked the url with an alert, as you can see, and it seems to contain both values fine. But when I check the value of the year parameter in the action method it is null.Here are the input fields:

I know that this looks like a strange thing to do instead of just binding fields, but the reason is that these input fields and their values is not the main purpose of this View. They're just there to select another week in this timesheet application. And besides, I'm going to replace the input fields with a jQuery calendar eventually, so I will still have to do something like this.
So what's the easiest way to do this, and why isn't it working as it is?
I have a JQuery template, and I want to call a webservice and populate the fields in it. The issues I am having are, I'm not sure how to pass parameters in my $.ajax call (ideally, I want to pass a dictionary so I can pass as many or few parameters as I want). I tried data: { Key : Value } but get a 500 server error saying something about not a valid JSON primative.
Once the webservice is called, how can I get my data back in a JSON string that is compatible with a JQuery template? My webservices usually get a List and my jquery template works with a JSON object.
The problem is basically the format of data between client and server. My webservice call works fine, it's simply a problem of JSON and data. Edit: I have succeeded in calling the webservice with a dictionary, I am now trying to figure out how to get the data back. I'm getting a circular reference error.
I have a fairly simple template that I need to make a method call from. However, NVelocity does not seem to evaluate method parameters that themselves are NVelocity variables. Take the following NVelocity template:

In the above template, $extensionMethods is passed in as an instance of a class and works wonderfully when passing in evaluated numbers (e.g. $extensionMethods.TestMethod(4) works every time). However, using $var1 causes the entire string to be returned as-is: $extensionMethods.TestMethod(${var1}).
Is there a way to pass in a variable to a method lazily to get the above template to evaluate correctly?
I have a page which submits a form in my local system but in my production system when i click my submit button it just freezes with the error in my web developer toolbar saying Error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: When calling stored procedures and 'Use Procedure Bodies' is false, all parameters must have their type explicitly set.
I make an asynchronous call from one web service to another web service deployed on different server? The scenario is that an ASP.NET webforms page will call a web service in an async manner. This particular web service will then make another async call to a second web service deployed on different web server. This this possible to achieve, and what additional steps or code would be necessary to make this happen?
I have 2 master pages with same (href) links on top of the page. Now these links load on the same master page when clicked on (by requirement). The problem is both these master pages have same links, so basically the same page shall be loaded in the master page.Now what i need is when the person is on Master Page 1 and clicks on the link it should load in the same page. Whereas if the user is on Master Page 2 and clicks on the same link, i should be able to change the master page from 1 to 2 and load that in Master Page 2. Something like DirectCast.
Is it possible to access a control's attributes within a custom validation method? Lets say I'm validating a textbox called txtName. Is it possible to access the ID of it or anything? args seems to only give me access to the value.
My requirement is i need to display some quotes from some vendors in my User Interface. Some of the quote details will be fetched from database where as some vendors are giving web services to get the quote results. I need to combine the quotes from database as well as the various web service response and display in the grid.

I was just wondering, let's say I created a Method that is in a partial class in App_Code, and this Method would replace the same type of Method that would otherwise be in many files, and so, since it would be called from many files and would probably be called and used very frequently especially because of this. Would this overload this class? I'm not saying what would most likely happen, I'm just asking if it would be even remotely possible?

I'd like to pass in two string parameters and use DataContractJsonSerializer to write new Foo and Bar objects. Am I missing something?
Which is the best way (in performance and security) to send multiple parameters to a web page (on a different server), considering that the length of the parameters may vary because I'm sending a list of products, and the customer may have selected more than one product, so we need to send each product on the querystring to the other page. For example (I'm on C#); I want to call a web page like this:
(Obviouly considering we can't send special characters via querystring, but I put them here for better understanding) Which will be the better way (performance, security)?
Since i have 5 buttons that pretty much run the same code, except for the database updates, i found some examples of how to do this.. so i created 1 button event, and put my general calc code then some if statements to determine what button was clicked.. but doing this now i get a NullReferenceException
and here is the code its complaining about, why would this work within the other button events, but not this one? Ive compared and and all the buttons on the page are the same with the except of the database entries.

I have an MS SQL function that is called with the following syntax: SELECT Field1, COUNT(*) AS RecordCount FROM GetDecileTable('WHERE ClientID = 7 AND LocationName = ''Default'' ', 10) The first parameter passes a specific WHERE clause that is used by the function for one of the internal queries. When I call this function in the front-end C# page, I need to send parameter values for the individual fields inside of the WHERE clause (in this example, both the ClientID & LocationName fields) The current C# code looks like this:

When I do this, I get the following code from SQL profiler:

When this executes, SQL throws an error that it cannot parse past the first mention of @ClientID stating that the Scalar Variable @ClientID must be defined. If I modify the code to declare the variables first (see below), then I receive an error at the second mention of @ClientID that the variable already exists.

I know that this method of adding parameters and calling SQL code from C# works well when I am selecting data from tables, but I am not sure how to embed parameters inside of the ' quote marks for the embedded WHERE clause being passed to the function.
