I have a datatable in which some of the rows contain a column with duplicate values. I need to be able to delete the duplicate rows and leave only one, doesn't matter which one.
The rows might look like this:
A, B, C, D
E, F, G, D
H, I, J, D
I need to delete two rows and be left with only one.
Referring [URL] .... its a good functionality but instead of removing duplicate rows i need to make the cell of the column containing duplicate value blank

The blocks are in 15 minute increments, but one of my problems is that the reservation can be longer than 15 minutes. I've had some luck removing one or two, but not all of the required columns.

I have a DataTable for which a PrimaryKey constraint has been set to be a combination of an integer column and a datetime column. When I try to 'Find' a row by saying,
dtFunds.Rows.Find(iContainerIndex)
I get a null value. iContainerIndex has been defined as an object array of size 2 with the integer ID and date values in it.
When I set a breakpoint in my code, I see that the very same values are present in the datatable.
If I try to execute, DataTable.Select() method with the integer column filter, I get a result - but returns no result when called with the date column filter.
What am I doing wrong here? The very same DateTime value is present in the datatable.
i could bind the data form tables to dropdownlist in asp .net using linq.

now in above, if i want only those hotelid where amenityid is 7585 and amenityid is  65474 and not any else hotelid ,  then how to use select query in datatable  in asp.netÂ
I have one big DataTable with X rows. I want to select Y rows from it and bind them to a new ViewList. While doing it, I want to delete these rows from the DataTable (Having X - Y rows).
What is the best and fast way to do it?
I don't know if it is better to create a new DataTable to have the Y and after that bind them to a ViewList or something else?

I'm new to ASP.NET MVC and I'm trying to implement an address manager.I'm using Linq2Entity Framework. I've got a table with contacts and one with phone numbers. These two tables are linked by a contact_has_phone_number table. The Entity Framework enables me to get all phone numbers that are assigned to one contact. This is done by calling contact.PhoneNumbers which returns a collection of phone numbers.

I have 5 tables as follows
as it can be seen from diagram, I have one table ie.patientdetails with Pid as primary key and other 4 tables have pid which is foreign key related to Pid in patient details.
the problem is that when if a test data is filled for say patient with Pid as 1, the data is saved nicely in required tables
If i try doing that again for same patient then a duplicate is created in test tables with pid as 1.
suppose I am having sample table like below.
I need to remove duplicate orderid's and i need all column names also while doing query.
note that rows are not in the order. Order will be like this only.
I am able to get the records which are duplicated but not able to delete further.
In this case how to delete?
My consideration is that only distinct orderid's should be there in the table. Not bothering about the which orderid row is being deleted.

While uploading excel sheet to datatable and bind it to gridview it will check the repeat data and null data in excel sheet and when it will bind to gridview, the row in which error present that row will be in red background color and the correct row will occur in normal back color. Â

I have a database table that stores a list of friends. The table can store many friends and there can be duplicates, for example - John is James' and davids' friend. John will be in the table twice but will be linked to the others via another data-member. What i dont want is james to be down as johns friend twice in the table. I'm doing a small social network and this is possible by james accepting john as his friend twice. Is there anything to check if there are 2 columns identical?
