want to create a email application in which i want to select multiple email id's in the To textarea.I an using ajax auto complete extender to fetch the email id's from the database. I am able to display the email id's, but my problem is that i want to select multiple emailid's in one time(Like in real application) How can i achieve that?Using ajax auto complete extender i am able to select only one email id.

how to implement API over the SharePoint(MOSS) framework.
What i want to do is create a client application to communicate with the SharePoint.
wanting to implement something like following.
Client send post request to API implemented on SharePoint, API receive a request and do the authentication and create a login cookie. Client keep communicating with API(with the login cookie), request necessary information and API returns it.
I could not find anyway to hook a program... Is there anyway to hook a program or implement own authentication mechanism before SharePoint's own authentication is called?

I've built a new sharepoint site page using the example I found here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/kaevans/archive/2010/06/28/creating-a-sharepoint-site-page-with-code-behind-using-visual-studio-2010.aspx.The purpose of the page is to add a new user to the aspnet membership database that serves as the authentication provider for my sharepoint site,which uses forms based authentication.I've slightly customized the asp createuser control.The sharepoint site is forms based but the top level site is accessible anonymously, and I've created a subsite for members (hence the user registration page). The site page is in the top level site so that people can register.If I'm already logged in and fill out the form, the user is successfully added to the membership store, however if I access the page anonymously and fill out the form, the user is successfully added to the membership database, but I can no longer navigate the website,I keep getting http 500 page cannot be displayed errors until I clear the browser cache and cookies.

On Farm B, I am creating Class Library project, packaging it (wsp) and then deploying to GAC. The problem is I'm unable to access the Web Service using the following code. I successfully implemented AutoComplete textbox in a usercontrol but doesnt work with nested one. The webservice does get called and i get the dropdown, but on selecting the text from the dropdown doesnt set the value in the hidden field. Tried to debug using Firebug, but it doesnt break at this function

The user needs to enter a few letters and his/her name (record by the combination of 2 columns 'firstname' and 'lastname') pops up as a suggestion. The problem is that I would like to get the id of that record, since I need to get a hold of the rest of the user details.

I have a test project with only a label, text box an the auto-completer:

Edit: I forgot to add that I am able to run the WebService by itself. It returns the values from the function. The function is never invoked from the aspx though.
