AJAX :: How To Update The Amount Column When Change The Value Of Quantity And Price In Gridview!

I have an ASP.NET gridview that list all data rows for Book store with column name: Book (BoundField), quantity (TemplateField) , price (templateField) and amount (amount = quantity * price). I would like to change either quantity or price that will update the amount automatically after leaving cell in the gridview but not save new values into database until I made all changes and display message: "Are you sure to change them in database?".

I'm building an application, my client wants me to create new control using AJAX. This control should look like thisThis control includes price(dolars and cents) and when user clicks on specific price(suppose 95 dolars and 33 cents) this price should jump inside to textboxs(one for dolars and one for cents)Does anybody have a clue how to implement this control creation??

I have a Data Grid View which display values from a SQL Query, and inside the data grid view I have two template fields one is Quantity and it is a text box and the other is Total Price and it is a label.
What I want to do is to insert a button called update and when I press this button the price Column should be multiplied by the quantity Column and the result should be displayed in the total Column.

I have 3 tables. Blog and Tag have a many to many relationship. BlogTag is a junction table with a quantity column.

I'm not sure how I handle the quantity column. I'd like it to store how many Blogs have a certain Tag NameHow do I deal with the quantity column when adding a new blog that has tags?

I have a shooping cart in version 9.0.1.3
I have several products with two variants for each.
I can add any quanity to the first variant and it is calculated into the cart correctly.
When I try to add a number besides one for the second variant it will only show one of the porduct in the cart.
I can change the quanity when it is in the cart. But I need it to work correctly.

Say i have a Laptop for 600.00. Say i change it to $650.00. How do shopping carts handle that? Like do they store the price in the cart or the item? How do they make sure they get the price they wanted but not bill the customer the new change without asking them? Or do most store them in both?
I was thinking maybe i could store it in both.So if the current price is over the cart price for a item, don't remove it/bill them from their cart. Then after, tell them what was billed/email a receipt for the items that didn't change that was billed(say they had more then one item) and remove it from the cart. For the items that did change, say something like "Items left in cart due to price change, check if you still want to buy the items at the new price." So leave the items that changed in the cart but update the price in the cart.
I don't think the language should matter. Guess this is more of a logical type question. Do most shopping carts do it this way or is there a better way?

I have a parent table and a child table. Essentially the parent table is called Contracts and the child is called Programs. Each Contract can have multiple Programs and in the Programs table I have a column called amount. On my page I have created a DetailsView that lists the columns of the Contract table. I would also like to include on this DetailsView a field that sums the Amounts column of all programs associated with this contract. How would I go about doing this? Currently I have a LinqDataSource that pulls all the columns from the Contract table and I have bound the DetailsView to this datasource.

I am struggling to show different views of gridview with database values. Here is my requirement.
Database Table:
I need to show one drop downlist with three values 1,2,3. If user selects 3 i Need to show a grid like below
Age,AnnualSales and Assortment are names which are coming dynamically from database.
High,Medium and Core all are values
Here my question is I need to show same attribute names.
Like If the name changes from "Assortment" to "Location" I need to show it in different page index .
In page index 2 i need to show like below.
