View 3 RepliesI am using model popup to allow user to input there information . In this model popup . I am having two option Like OPtion-1 and Option-2 . When User will select Option-1 a panel should open on modelpop up to take Option-1 Detail .Simillarly When Option-2 is pressed another panel should open where User Can fill data. User Ca Fill only single option either OPtion-1 or 2 .
How I can do this without postback and without model disappear. I don't want to use radio or checkbox button .I want something good looking and with working function.
As the title of this post already mentioned, I'm using a modal popup window to edit rows in the gridview. One column in the gridview contains an URL code. When I fire the edit button a popup opens and show the URL in a textbox in this format: [URL]
When I am using the Server.HTMLDecode function, the modal popup doesn't close anymore.
I am using the following code:
[Code]....
The funny thing is, when I change it to: txtURL.Text = row.Cells[3].Text; then I can close the modal popup, but unfortunately it is not decoded.
How to Model Pop Up Extender control invisible by certain time period.
View 1 RepliesI have an aspx page with multiple modal popups. These modal popups are trigger in the page behind code using .Show() and .Hide().
This is what I have in the .aspx page for the particular modal popup under discussion:
[Code]....
The example below demonstrates the type of calls I am making to the modal popup extenders. Basically using the Datalist item command, the datalist commands are responsible for triggering my modal popups.
[Code]....
They all work fine after postbacks except the "activityReport" case (the last one). The only difference with this modal popup is that it contains a user control and all the postbacks are happening in the user control. So the problem is that in the last case whenever a postback happens in the user control then the modal popup is close.
1. If I separate the modal popup and place it in a page all by itself and trigger it to .Show() through a button click in the page behind code then the modal popup doesn't close. See below example.
[Code]....
2. The button click event in the test page looks as follow:
[Code]....
[Code]....
I can open the modalpopup, can close the popup, but if i click the "edit" button to edit any of rows, the popup closes automatically. If I click again, the "Update" and "Cancel" buttons shows, and after clicking one of those, popup closes again. The above code works, if i use gridview the insert, edit or delete the data, does not close automatically. What may be the cause of this problem.
I have a gridview that is loaded inside a panel that is displayed using a ModalPopUpExtender. I have added in code (a div statement) to allow the gridview to have scrollbars. Doing so causes any button click to close the ModalPopUpExtender instead of proceeding on with the button click event. If I remove the scrollbars it works just fine and proceeds on just as if the user clicked the button.
How can I use the scroll bars and have the system not close the ModalPopUpExtender?
[Code]....
my requirement is close the calander when click outside of the image control.currently calander close when click the image.
I have a modal pop up extender that is working fine. Inside the modal pop up window I have 2 buttons yes No
If I click on yes I am redirecting it to a diff page. No is simply closing the pop up.
In my .cs file buttonclick I added the response.redirect();
But my OnClick="BtnYes_Click" is never getting fired although I click on the yes button. What is wrong?

I have a modal popup that on the first time it is running, if the user clicks the greyed out background the modal closes. On the 2nd and later times it runs correctly. The user can click the background and it works correctly. I have searched around and tried a few things with out any luck.
Here is the code.
<telerik:RadScriptManager ID="RadScriptManager1" runat="server" EnablePageMethods="true" EnablePartialRendering="true"> </telerik:RadScriptManager>
<ajax:ModalPopupExtender ID="GlobalModalPopupExtender" runat="server" PopupControlID="GlobalpnlPopup" TargetControlID="GlobalMain" BackgroundCssClass="modal_background"> </ajax:ModalPopupExtender>

/> <b>Processing...</b> </td> </tr> </table> </asp:Panel>
<script type="text/javascript">
Sys.Application.add_load(GlobalApplicationLoadHandler);
function GlobalApplicationLoadHandler(sender, args) { var prm = Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance(); if (!prm.get_isInAsyncPostBack()) { prm.add_initializeRequest(initRequest); prm.add_endRequest(endRequest);
} } function timer() { return true; }
function initRequest(sender, args) { var pop = $find("<%=GlobalModalPopupExtender.ClientID%>"); pop.show(); }
function endRequest(sender, args) { var pop = $find("<%=GlobalModalPopupExtender.ClientID%>"); pop.hide(); } </script>
.modal_background { background-color:Gray; filter:alpha(opacity=65); -moz-opacity:0.65; /* It is for Mozilla firefox browser */ Opacity:0.65; }
Any code related to modal popup to stablise is necessary and if the values are enter correctly then modal popup should get post back.

I am using a 5 file upload controls on my page within a Create User Wizard.
In a modal pop up extender, I have a animated ajax gif with a message
"loading"
When I submit the button (see code below )to send the form, the modal pop up shows up,but the image is not animated. If I put the button below in an update panel it works with animation. But if I add a twigger for the button as the file upload controls needs a postbackthe image is static again. Is there anywhere I can display an animated image in the modal pop up and still keep my existing code.?

View 7 RepliesSo I have a button on form that is supposed to execute some code-behind on a click event. To this button I also connected a Modal Popup Extender, which once you click OK, it goes away. What doesn't happen (and it should) is btnSendContactForm_Click never gets called.
Using the OnOkScript didn't help me either. I have tried setting the OnOkScript property of the extender, by calling a javascript that simulates the button click on the send button, but that only re-calls the modal pop extender, and a never-ending loop results everytime you click OK.
<!-- Send Button, Extender, and Pop Up Panel -->
I am using a modal extender pop up with dimensions 400px by 400px and in the top right corner I want to put a image cross that when clicked will shut the modal pop up.
I know to make the cancel control to the buttom image but I have seen on some sites the image that seems to sit half in and half out the modal pop up extender DIV box which the effect I like more than an image internal to the DIV of the modal popup floated right corner.
I am trying to get a modal popup inside a modal popup?, also i want to fire the modal popup on a condition in a text change event of a textbox?...is this possible and can anyone give me directon on this
View 5 RepliesI'm using modal popup extender and panel with calendar in it. Click the "Next / Previous Month" closes the modal popup. How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.

I have asp.net button "OK" in html popup window. I after my logic done how close that popup window it self?
<asp:Button Id="btnOK" runat="server" AccessKey="<%$Resources:
wss,multipages_okbutton_accesskey%>" Width="70px" Text="<%$Resources:wss,
multipages_okbutton_text%>" OnClick="btnOK_Click" />
Modal Popup user control (its a message box) on top of a modal popup with javascript that maintains postback on a scrollable div all inside of an update panel causes my page to flash on postback of the user control. If any one of the peices (user control, modal popup, javascript) are missing everything works fine. The javascript is maintaing scrollback on a scrollable listview on the page. A modalpopup is shown on top of this main page that is for report parameters. The user control is used for validation and is displayed if a parameter is invalid. I know this may not be the best design, but it can't really change unless its a minor change. Heres the js if anyone wants to see popup or styles let me know.
//Begin methods to maintain or reset scroll position during postback.
var controlIds = [];
var scrollTops = [];
//Register a control to maintain its scroll position on postbacks.
function MaintainPostback(controlId) {
controlIds.push(controlId);
}
//Find the div/control id in the controlIds array and set its scroll position to 0.
function ResetControlScrollTop(controlId) {
var index = 0;
while (index < controlIds.length) {
if (controlId == controlIds[index]) {
scrollTops[index] = 0;
return;
}
index++;
}
}............
I wrote a webcrawler which calls a web page in a do while loop amount 3 seconds
totally there are 7000 sites... i parse the data and save it in my DB.
sometimes because the script is loading for a long time, i got a timeout in browser,
but in background i continues. I see that on my database.
Can I prevent this?.. Now it's just possible if I stop webserver.
