AJAX ModalPopup Update Panel Contents Based On Change In Panel Controls
Aug 30, 2010
I have an AJAX Modal Popup panel that contains a RadioButtonList, 2 labels and 2 DropDowns. I want to update the Labels and DropDowns when a radio button is selected. My attempt at this posts back which causes the ajax popup to disappear.
aspx called on image click:
<asp:Panel ID="pnlModalContainer" runat="server">
<asp:RadioButtonList ID="rblTest" runat="server" RepeatDirection="Horizontal" OnSelectedIndexChanged="rblTest_SelectedIndexChanged">
I am working in asp.net 4.5 with VS2013. I have two usercontrols in my aspx page and in my first usercontrol i have gridview with button inside update panel and if i press the button it should pass the value to second userconrol and based on the value i will do some db operation to bind the controls in second usercontrol.
I am wondering is it possible to achieve using AJAX? I need to do this with partial postback without posting entire content of the page.
I have a text box to lookup codes. When you type search criteria in text box, it populates listbox and when you select item in listbox it populates the same text box with the value from listbox.
basically i am using same text box to search and finally populate it with the value. How can use update panel in this case so it doesn't refresh the entire page everytime list box is populated as well as when text box is finally updated.
I am calling a procedure in response to textbox_Changed event to poulate listbox.
How can i do this? I have created a function in c# code in backend but I am not able to call both functions together!
I'm new to the world of Update Panels and i'm having a hard time figuring out how to use them properly.
I have a form that has a table(TABLE1)...and inside TABLE1 i am linking to a sql data source....at the bottom of the table i have a 'Add' button.
When the user clicks the add button...a modal popup appears (POPUP1) and inside the POPUP1 the user can click a link that can add a user...when the link button is clicked...a panel within POPUP1 is set to visible = true.
I have one update panel around the whole table and the add button...when i click add and then click the link to add a user....the modal popup disappears.
I have one update panel inside updatepanel i have one dropdownlist .When i change dropdownlist value so as per value button1 which is out of updatepanel not visible =true or false as per dropdownlist value.
I have a simple Textbox for entering password and the checkbox named Show passowrd beside it. Textbox mode is Password by default. These controls are in the table and I am using Update panel on top of the table. My application framework is 2.0 and I am Using ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions.
Now When i write some text in the textbox and check the Showpassword chekbox then the checkbox event is not getting fired. when Second time i click it then the event is fired and text in the textbox is removed and the textbox mode is set to the SingleLine. This functionality I am achieving by writing a code in the CS File.
When I remove the Update panel then the event is fired correctly everytime, but when usign Update panel and some text in the textbox then i have to check the checkbox twice for the desired functionality.
How to change visibilty of panel based on imagebutton mouseover and mouseout here, i have panel1(Panel) and btnimg2(imagebutton) i want to show(Panel1.visibility=true) when mouseover happens on imagebutton and Panel1.visibility=false when mouseout on imagebutton
how to get a modalpopup to appear in a updateprogress panel.
I have a page with a list of products, when the user clicks to add a product to cart I want the modalpopup to appear for as long as the progress takes to addd the item ( to stop the user going to the cart which may still be empty) I am using a master pages and I have the updatePanel inside a user control, Im trying something along these lines ( as well as a 100 different combinations to get this to work) but cant get it done:
I have an ASPX page. If I click a button on the page an AJAX ModalPopup panel appears. If I click a button on the Popup another ModalPopup panel appears. On this second panel there is pair of CascadingDropDowns. This was developed using IE8 and everything is fine. However if you view the page from IE6 the cascadingdropdowns are not visible although all the other controls on the second panel are visible.
I have the following panel inside a modal popup, Within this panel I would like the user to upload a file. However on selction of these buttons it closes the popup. What do I need to pevent this and also allow the user to upload the required file. I'd be grateful if someone could take a look intot he following and let me know how to achieve this:
I have a web page that I have a media control player on along with other controls in a table.It's a training video, so the controls are not visible.So the user can advance to the next web page,I thought I would have a button control inside an update panel with a time control so that the user had to watch the video and then the button control would appear after the video completed.I'm setting the button update panel to NOT visible and then turning it one when the time control elapses the same amount of time that the video runs.My problem is that when I set the visible property of the update panel to NOT visible it also makes the media player's panel NOT visible too.They are in two different panels.The medial player in a standard panel and the timer control connected witha separate panel that contains the button for the user to proceed. When I set the visible property to "true" the media player runs but the update panel with the button is visible also.
This is the code for the update panel and continue button that is in a separate table cell.I even split the table and so this is in a completely separate table but I still get the same behavior.
I have written a Crystal reports web application, that prompts ths user for parameters and then apply them and exports the report to a folder as .rpt and then display the report.
I prompt the parameters on one screen and then display the report on another page. I have the AJAX update panel and update progress controls in the parameter page. When the user enters the parameters and click on ok, I export the report and then loads the report to a session report document and transfer the user to the second page where the report is displayed. I use the following code to do transfer to the seconds page.
I have excluded the report load and parameter assign code here.
In the second page I have the following:
rptViewer.reportsource = Session("rpt")
My problem is this works one time and then stops working the second. What I found out was it comes to the statement:
But it does not even load the show.aspx page. It stays on the parameter page. There are no errors displayed. I could not see any errors when I debug the application also. And out of the blue it works sometimes. And if I remove the update panel and progress control, my report works all the time.
I am displaying a Modalpopup programmatically with todo_modalpopup.show() in serverside code. The Panel's Style is set to display:none.. But when I click on the target control id (which is inside the Grid) , the panel loads fully in the page itself and then displays the modal popup.
I have a panel and a background image. to stretch this image in the panel if the height is adjusting. I have tried to google this but have trouble find a solution for this.The image has the size: (647 X 158).
The only thing that will change is the height of the panel. Now it does repeat by default. no - repeat will probably only make the image its orignal size wich is not stretching it out over the whole panel.Otherwise I am thinking of change the size of the image itself in C#. [Code]....
I am using two update panels in a page. Both of them are conditional mode and display when a checkbox is selected. So far it is good. I have few textboxes in the the second panel and I want validations to be set on those text boxes on a condtion, ie if textbox 1 is not empty then textbox 2 's required field validatior should trigger and viceversa. I have written the following logic in the pageload method,
