Nov 10, 2010I have an ASPX page. If I click a button on the page an AJAX ModalPopup panel appears. If I click a button on the Popup another ModalPopup panel appears. On this second panel there is pair of CascadingDropDowns. This was developed using IE8 and everything is fine. However if you view the page from IE6 the cascadingdropdowns are not visible although all the other controls on the second panel are visible.

Feb 16, 2011I have a TabContainer with multiple Tabs. For some of the Tab's Button OnClick events work and on others they do not. I have dropdowns etc in each of these tabs and their SelectedIndex events fire. Just some of the button events don't fire. If I move the HTML and codebehind to a blank page for any of the Panels that don't work, the buttons work as expected.

I decided to change what JS functions Im calling now since calling Multiple functions definately wasnt helping. Here's my updated code. All Im doing now is validating a single textbox and returning true or false. Even this simple function is causing the postback URL to never get called. Could it have anything to do with the fact that Im trying to call a function to return a true or false?

Feb 10, 2011I am trying to create a custom GridView with a header toolbar at the top that will contain icons to export the grid view to different formats like excel, word, etc.. The problem is, I cannot get the method to fire that is assigned to handle the click event for the corresponding Image Button. The page posts back, but the code I have in the method to handle the click event does not fire. I have followed examples in other posts and from what I can tell I have followed what others have done. Can somebody take a look at see if they can find something that I am doing wrong.

Nov 1, 2010I have a problem I seem to stumble over all the time, I have a Drop Down box and you can select a number which creates x number of textboxes with images buttons its for a survey it the image buttons are used to create "Sub-Answers" so they can have answers to answers so my question is I need to when they hit the image button to create a textbox under the orginal textbox here is the code.

Jan 24, 2011Im working on app that queries another website, and pulls back an xml, I then populate a result panel with ImageButton(s), and time in a click event, when the image is click I want to popup a div box using the jquery ui, that will show more information, about the picture clicked on. however whenever id this this seems to wipe out my results panel(Panel Control) and the div box never appears and as far as I can tell the imagebutton click event never fires. I've tried doing this two ways one with an update panel and again without, I would appreciate any help on this.Im wondering if I'm doing to much long on my search button click, Im wonder if I should just let the post pack handle populating the result panel and ditch the update panel.(and yes my div tag is set to runat server)I'm also up for suggestions maybe there is a better way to do this, I thought creating hidden div tags for each item, and then running javascript for when the image is clicked and showing it that way, However that seems stupid, in my opinion it seems to make more sense to make my div control once and then update the labels inside it on each image click and then show or hide it.

AJAX :: How To Use Multiple (rows Of) Buttons In A Listview As A Ok Button In Ajax Modalpopup
Jan 5, 2011 I have the modal popup come up for searching something. Inside the popup (panel) I have a txtbox and a search button. I enter text and hit 'search' and the results are shown in a listview within the popup. Now every row in the list view has a button "Select". I want to click on one of those buttons to select a particular value.
Now on click of the button(within the listview), I tried calling a javascript function and doing $find('mdlPopup').hide(); , which makes the popup dissappear. But somehow the debugger takes me straight to Global.asax.Application_Error() and doesn't even give me a stack trace to see wht the issue is. And over that, the popup looks dissapeared, but the rest of the controls on the page are not enabled back. Strange?
I'm assuming, that the popup doesn't close as intended and it errored out (which took me to Global.asax.Application_Error() ), and is not enabling the rest of the controls in the page.So my question is, how do I assign multiple buttons in a listview to the okbutton (or cancelbutton) of a modalpopup extender?

Dec 21, 2010I have a page.. which im trying to implement a gridview that allows you to select from it, it will open a modalpopup with a list of records linked to the selection.. now within that popup, you can pick a individual record so you can see full details..So my question is, can you have multiple modalpopup's open at the same time? If not then is there anyway to reopen the first popup with the list again so that you can pick another record
