AJAX :: ModalPopupExtender / Instead Of Dissapear These Modal Panel It Appers On The Bottom Left Corner Of The Page?
Feb 15, 2010
I'm developing an ASP.NET application with C# and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. I'm using WebForms.
I have an ASPX page with two UpdatePanels, one on the left that holds a TreeView and other on the right where I load dynamically user controls.
On the left panel I also have buttons to load user controls on the right. I have a ModalPopupExtender in a button that show I div with radiobuttons to select a type. When I choose an option and click ok it do a postback to load dynamically a user control but instead of dissapear these modal panel it appers on the bottom left corner of the page.
What's happening? I think it is about dynamic load.
I have a wierd issue with a ModalPopupExtender. I am using a GridView and a DetailsView Control inside a ModalPopupExtender to show the details. After I Hide the ModalPopupExtender it renders at the bottom of the page. The popup works fine, just when i close it it moves to the bottom. If i click on another item and close it, it just builds at the bottom of the page. If i click Save it closes and falls to the bottom of the page and my Update sql statement contains all the values of the below popups. Wierd huh!
I have tried both using the OKControlID and creating an event handler to do a ModalPopupExtender.Hide(); neither works. I have used the ModalPopupExtender a number of times and have never seen this happen.
I use ajaxToolkit:ModalPopupExtender to show a modal window panel. The panel among other things contains a "Submit" button. I would like to call a code behind function on Submit. First I tried this:
[Code]....
But btnSubmitOnHold_Click() is never called. Then I replaced OnClick="btnSubmitOnHold_Click" with OnClientClick="SubmitPutOnHold" and added
<script type="text/javascript"> function SubmitPutOnHold() { alert('blah'); } </script>
have a look at this panel:how can i get the word "Technologies" written on the top left corner of the panel control with the panel having a red border?please somebody show me the .aspx of doing the same.
I have an issue that may be tied to layering of ajax controls. On my page I have a Modal Popup that displays and has multiple input fields on it.One of which is a dropdown list that shows one of two sections OnSelectedIndexChanged. One section has a button that calls another Modal Popup with inputs.
When I cancel/close the 2nd Modal Popup and change the value of the dropdown list the Popup's panel displays at the bottom of the page.I have tired hiding the panel, calling the mpe.hide(); etc but cannot get this panel to stop displaying.
If i didnot include the trigger on the page modal is not showing, but if I include the trigger modal popup is showing, can this be achieved with out registering the triggers.
due to this code I am getting a pageload error? is that something wrong with this?this is the Error I am getting in IE.Webpage error details

i want to round the corner of top and bottom of asp.net menu.i have done this by adding chiditem with blank name and set image but its not showing properly on all major browser.
I am trying to develop an ASP.NET 2.0 (application which uses a Windows Control Library. I did some reading, tried to get something working, and ran into a problem. Basically, when the web application runs, I see an outline of where the WCL should be, but there is a red 'x', looks like a delete icon, in the upper left corner of the outline.
Then I found this article, http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/052604-1.aspx. I downloaded the code and when I ran it, without modification, I had the same problem. I also tried running the application from within VS 2005 (i.e., the projects recompiled) and I had the same problem.
We implemented Modal Popup in Sharepoint 2007 as a part of one of the User controls. Issue that I am facing is on IE7 the popup appear on botton left hand side of the browser screen. Popup itself is grayed. It works fine in IE 6 i.e. popup is center positioned and enabled Does any body know if this is a known issue with IE 7 and how to rectify this issue? below is the ASCX code for the user control
Modal popup not working, I need to open modal pop up inside a panel, below is my html, senerio goes as :
On page load on only panel with id="pnlgrid" is visible and button with id btnaddnew is visible on clicking addnewbutton panel grid is visible false and panel with id=pnlFormEdit is visible true.
Inside there is linkbutton1 on which click i want to open popup. but on clicking it goes postback.
When I browse to my page that has the modal popup panel on it, the panel initially is visable, and when I do a postback it acts as intended. let me know if you need the master page....
On each image, I want to open a popup with "Download" & "Print" buttons.
I was thinking to create a panel and open a popup on linkbutton click by using ajaxToolkit:ModalPopupExtender . But, I realized that for I will need 3 such panels & ModalPopup's for each image as got to set TargetControlId for each link button.
In my other page, I will have more than 10 images.
What can be the best way to achieve this goal in such way that thru out my app I can call this popup and download or print the image ?
I used modal popup in vs 2010 that is working fine. When user click on button modal popup comes up immediately , I want it comes in transition from top to middle so it looks good.
I used timer to refresh page every 5 second.. but due to timer my multiline textbox doesn't scroll down bottom even though i used javascript to scroll to bottom..
I have made a user control using CollapsiblePanelExtender control. I am getting a small issue, that the panel that expands is not relative to the control. It always open on left side of the page. My control is in different location in different pages. How can I make sure that the expand and collapse is with respect to the control? I see "left: -36px" in the style attribute of "SettingsContentPanel". How can it be relative and doesn't break the code.
I am using a modal extender pop up with dimensions 400px by 400px and in the top right corner I want to put a image cross that when clicked will shut the modal pop up.
I know to make the cancel control to the buttom image but I have seen on some sites the image that seems to sit half in and half out the modal pop up extender DIV box which the effect I like more than an image internal to the DIV of the modal popup floated right corner.
