AJAX :: CollapsiblePanelExtender Control Always Expand And Show The Panel On The Left Margin?

Jan 6, 2011

I have made a user control using CollapsiblePanelExtender control. I am getting a small issue, that the panel that expands is not relative to the control. It always open on left side of the page. My control is in different location in different pages. How can I make sure that the expand and collapse is with respect to the control? I see "left: -36px" in the style attribute of "SettingsContentPanel". How can it be relative and doesn't break the code.

AJAX :: CollapsiblePanelExtender Doesn't Show All The Contents Of Panel?

Jan 11, 2011

I am using CollapsiblePanelExtender and there are few controls within the panel which need to be shown on expanding the panel. Controls are in three different div within the panel.

Problem:

On expanding panel, IE page scroll bar position doesn't go down upto third div and i can see the controls upto second div. I have to scroll down the page to see all the controls.

Is there any way if i can see all the div controls on expanding panel instead of manually scrolling down the page?

AJAX :: How To Use JavaScript To Change Height Of A Panel (when Using CollapsiblePanelExtender)

Sep 22, 2010

I have 2 panels in my page with their height is fixed (ex : Panel1.Height = 200px, Panel2.Height = 300px)

I am using CollapsiblePanelExtender to collapse/expand the first Panel by clicking on an ImageButton.

If Panel1 is hidden, change the height of Panel2 = 300 + 200. And if Panel1 is shown, change the height of Panel2 = 300.

How I can do that ?

AJAX :: Collapse And Expand A Div / Panel?

Jul 26, 2010

I have a updatepanel and div within it. I want to collapse and expand the panel/div on image button click. I tried 3 options

1. Collapsible panel: This is not smooth it closes and opens in intervals bit by bit

2. Accordian: I tried using it in a simple example which worked fine but it didnt work in the project. In the div there are many nested divs and updatepanels. is this a reason that it didnt work in my project?

3. Giving a image button and writing code in cs file on button clickevent to display:none/block the div.

Option 3 worked, but on click of the image button, the button shifts or the background panel shifts the position, hence the panel and image button are not inline(not in the same position as before)

Also, since we are using ASP.NET 3.5 and Ajax, option 1 or 2 looks good but they are not working as expected.

AJAX :: Can Panel Automatically Expand Or Collapse

Aug 2, 2010

I added it and when the user clicks on the panel(working as header) then the collapsing/expanding of another panel(working for displaying the content) works great. All of it happens in the client side;i.e;no need of server side code. But now i want to change it a bit.All i want to do is when the mouse curser moves in/out of the panel(which is the header) then the panel(working for displaying the content) should automatically expand/collapse respectively.

Forms Data Controls :: How To Show And Expand All Items In A Navigation Control

Sep 30, 2010

I am using a SiteMap data source boudn to a navigation control. I would like to also put this in the footer (sort of like the bottom of Yahoo! pages) where all items are expanded and static.

So my major heading would be across the top (horizontal) and the sub items would be indented vertically below and always expanded. Is there a way to do this? Check out the bottom of the BlackBerry DEVCON 2010 site for an example:[URL]

AJAX :: ModalPopupExtender / Instead Of Dissapear These Modal Panel It Appers On The Bottom Left Corner Of The Page?

Feb 15, 2010

I'm developing an ASP.NET application with C# and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. I'm using WebForms.

I have an ASPX page with two UpdatePanels, one on the left that holds a TreeView and other on the right where I load dynamically user controls.

On the left panel I also have buttons to load user controls on the right. I have a ModalPopupExtender in a button that show I div with radiobuttons to select a type. When I choose an option and click ok it do a postback to load dynamically a user control but instead of dissapear these modal panel it appers on the bottom left corner of the page.

What's happening? I think it is about dynamic load.

I've used the extender elsewhere with no issues but when I try to add the control to my panels collection of controls in my custom control, my page crashes. Take it out and no error. I'm adding other controls to the panel...literals, labels, etc. This, however is the only ajax control I am using. Is there something I need to do as far as registering the extender with the script manager (on the master page)?

AJAX :: Use Databound Radio Buttons To Control CollapsiblePanelExtender?

Aug 17, 2010

I am using .Net 3.5 in VS 2010. I would like to use a couple of radio buttons, that are bound to data, to control the Expand/Collapse of a CollapsiblePanelExtender.

I have found several threads on the web that suggest using JavaScript to control the CollapsiblePanelExtender with a RadioButtonList, but I cannot $find the control in the JavaScript.

I have also found several threads that suggest using custom radio buttons, but I don't see how to do the databinding for these.
