AJAX :: Popup With AsyncFileUpload Closes On Button Click?

I have a AsyncFileUpload control on a greybox popup. There are some processing that happens, and then closes the popup registering javascript as a button click event fires.
If i upload a file with the AsyncFileUpload popup page redirects to itself instead of the parent page. It redirects to the parent page as it supposed to if I dont upload a file using AsyncFileUpload. Another thing I have noticed is if I upload a file using AsyncFileUpload popup gets closed and redirects to self on any button click even without the close script call.

I have a modal popup that on the first time it is running, if the user clicks the greyed out background the modal closes. On the 2nd and later times it runs correctly. The user can click the background and it works correctly. I have searched around and tried a few things with out any luck.

I am using a ModalPopUpExtender in my web page i have set the Target Control Property to some control and Cancel Control Id to some control but the problem is that whenever any control inside the popup postbacks the popup is closed. i dont want to use the update panel to resolve this problem.
I have a popup with a form on it displaying account details for clients. Each client has at least 1 account but may have up to 999. The popup and form is displayed properly, but when i click on any of the < > << >> pager options, the popup closes instead of moving to the next record in the form.
I need to run a JS function before the modal popup closes, this is because I need to close a flash netstream, currently the flv continues to play after modal is closed, you can hear audio and stream continues to download. I have the code to deal with this, but the modal closes before JS is actioned. The JS below talks to swf (videoPlayer_low) and closes the netstream. Note all this pain is to deal with IE :(
I need to set focus on a textbox in parent form after the pop extender closes. I am setting the focus before showing the popup, but when the popup closes, it is lost.

I try to create a asp.net 4 webpage, using masterpage.
On webpage I have a formview and inside the formview I have a ajax modalpopup. I have multiple buttons and textboxes on the modalpopup, and created a test event, but I still get the message that the textbox is not declared.
I am showing popup extender after click on ok button on popup ,i am navigating to another page. But after click on browser's back button( on toolbar) It is again showing popup again. i dont want show pop up again.
So I have a button on form that is supposed to execute some code-behind on a click event. To this button I also connected a Modal Popup Extender, which once you click OK, it goes away. What doesn't happen (and it should) is btnSendContactForm_Click never gets called.
Using the OnOkScript didn't help me either. I have tried setting the OnOkScript property of the extender, by calling a javascript that simulates the button click on the send button, but that only re-calls the modal pop extender, and a never-ending loop results everytime you click OK.
I'm using modal popup extender and panel with calendar in it. Click the "Next / Previous Month" closes the modal popup. How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.
i have a web form in which i ve a button which will open a sliding pop up box(jquery) on click of it. In the same page i ve also a linkbutton for downloading files. Now the problem is first time wen i click that button it does nothing. (will not open popup box). Once i click on download button and then if i click that button it will open popup box along with download dialog box. Why is it happening so... is it because am using same event click for both these.
but download option is implemented in gridview_rowcommand()..
Is it actually possible to change the button text on the AsyncFileUpload control from "Browse" or "Select File" to something else without having to modify the control's source code? it seems I have to apply all sorts of hacks and workarounds for such a simple requirement. I fail to understand the authors of this brilliant control haven't thought about this (or is it too complicated for them to do it). and also Is it possible to have two buttons one for selecting the file and one for uploading?. because it is confusing if the user thinks if he is simply selecting the file where as it does the upload as well. at least if I can change the caption to "browse and upload" that makes it clear. I think these two functions are merged now without giving any ability for the user to separate them if he wishes to do so. if there is a simple workaround at least if there is no straight forward way to achieve this.
I want to create a good Pop up on button click. pop up whose "height" , "width" can be controlled. It can be either Jquery pop up or Javascript. In this pop up I want to use asp.net controls and ajax (as normal webpage functionality but in form of pop up) also its background should be little blur when pop up is open.How can i create such pop up?
I have never before used pop up in asp.net. I am trying to code for Preview of forum on button click event. I am able to do successfully to open window but can't retrive data to display from parent page. So what is the way to retrive data from (contols) of parent page on the Child(popup) page. I already know to get data from textbox at parent page by below code.
