I have a webpage with a textbox, panel and a DropDownExtender, may plan is to dynamically add labels to the panel on load.
and my plan is to do the dynamic adding of labels in a Class.
so my problem is how can i pass a group Label Controls from a Class to the ASPX page Panel.
I have a class named utility in my App_code folder that holds the logic to set a labels text.

And then in each of my pages I was trying to set it like this:

I'm getting am object reference not set to an instance of an object on the lblHeader.Text = text; line of code.
i have a hidden textbox in my aspx page. The aspx page also has a masterpage in the <% @Page> directive.

actually in aspx.cs i am getting txtType.ClientID="ctl00_MainHeaderContent_txtType"
I have a webpart in a webpart zone in this aspx page. In the webpart CreateChildcontrols() I need to access this hiddenTextbox value. I am able to access it as
string TxtValue = this.Page.Request.Form["ctl00_MainHeaderContent_txtType"];
But instead of hardcoding I want to access as a control in the page or form. How can I do that I want to do as looping through the controls in the page but Page.Controls.Count gives 1 and that is MasterPage. How can I get the entire controls in the page and loop through and find the hidden textbox. I also tried as string TxtValue = this.Page.Request.Form["<%=txtType.ClientID%>"] in CreateChildControls() of the webp[art. But could not access hidden textbox like this.
How can i scroll the page to the label control, so it is visible for Message?
I tried below code but it is not working with Label Control .

i want to know, can one aspx page have two or more code behind page?
like if i have page collge.aspx, by default it will inherit college.aspx.cs, i want to know can't it inherit more then one aspx.cs. If not then why?

I want to use Updatepanel on one of the page in website. I have used updatepanel but it does not show any effect of UpdatePanel like Page autorefresh. I have used update panel for whole page, still it got refresh on button click event on the page. what kind of settings I have to do to work update panel on my web-site. I have a class UserControlBase that inherits System.Web.UI.UserControl and my user controls inherit UserControlBase class. UserControlBase has some common functions that are used in all user controls.
I want to put error display funtion to UserControlBase as well so that I may not have to declare and manage it in all user controls. Error will be displayed in some label in usercontrol. Issue is how to access label which is in usercontrol in UserControlBase in function ?

i have designed a web service which would create 2 csv files on the system. I want to send the links to the location of the files as an url attachment over the aspx page.

the output from the asmx web service is : [Code]....
where xx.xx.xxx.xxx is the ipaddress. this is the whole output i get from the webservice.
how do i get the aspx page to send the attachment in the format i mentioned above? I have added an asp website to the project and added the webservice as a web reference to this but i do not know how to get the location from the xml output file of the webservice result.

I know that i can make a method like:
width="<%= getWidthSize() %>"
and inside the aspx.cs to define this method to take the size from that static class.
But i am asking if this could be directly managed from the web aspx page...?
I have a 2D array of doubles in my Default class on my Default.aspx.cs page, like so:

By the time the page loads, I have populated this array from a database. Now, I want to reference this array in another file (Diff.aspx.cs) to avoid visiting the database again. Also, the data is used in a read-only fashion.
I work in VS 2008. Whenver I add a server control(Label) and set it properties in aspx.vb and build the solution, I get the error "Label1 not declared". While analyzing this issue I noticed that the event handler statements for the Label1 where not added in the designer.asp.vb file. These statement would actually be added automatically when I drag and drop a control to my webpage.
I would also like to inform the scenario after which this problem came to me. I was working in VS 2008 , VS 2005 and VS 2003 in the same machine.Could this have caused the issue ?
Now each and everytime when I add a control, I am adding the "With Events" code in the designer page to make my build succesfull which makes me to spend more efforts.
