Nov 5, 2013
I have a textbox on which i have call ajax to check the product is already exist. I have done it ,now i want to show the processing image when the textbox's onchange event occurs ... My code is :
.aspx:
<script>
function ValidateCategory() {
var product_category_title = $("#txttitle").val();
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
I have devloped a dashboard, which contains different sections. Each section shows a certain user control. some user controls shows graphs and grids and some information after some calculations. Some of these controls take times (10 seconds) to load, that's why whole page take a remarkable time to load.
I wana display skelton of page and some of controls, not taking much time, and display some processing sign on controls taking time more than 5 seconds. and refresh contents of these controls after processing at server done.
I want to show a processing image on every page load how to do that...Not only in button click it should happen in all page load. It should start when page load starts and ends when page load completed.
function DatalistFunction(argumentid) { set_minimum_points_for_session = value; SetSession(set_minimum_points_for_session); Redeem(argumentid); }
this is my code which i am calling on link button onclientclick event.
sometimes what happens is redeem function gets called first and then setsession function gets called. do i need to put some delay or something between the 2 functions, so that they run everytime in their own order
I have a web form which does a full page postback when a button is clicked. This is caused by an update panel trigger. Client-Side: When the button is clicked, an animation gif is displayed Server-Side: When the button is clicked, the server side event changes the content type to excel, binary writes out excel content (byte array) and does Response.Flush() and Response.End() Client-Side: User is asked to either open or download the excel file. Animation gif is still displayed.
Question: How can I detect client side (using jQuery or Ajax) that the response has been completed. There is no page postback because the code-behind has cut off the response by using Response.End().
I have a requirement to show an Exit Popup on one of our processing pages. I am showing the exit popup by registering a client side javascript like
window.onbeforeunload = ShowExitPopUp();
The popup executes fine if you close the window, or try to type in a different URL. However the issue is that my processing page is also performing a "Response.Redirect" on the server side once the process completes. When response.redirect happens the exitpopup also shows up. Is there a way to have the exit popup not show up in that case?
Since my server side code is running through an UpdatePanel, so I have tried registering the following, in an attempt to remove ExitPopup from client side. However this doesn't work since server side redirection happens before end request.
I have below code to show processing when button clicked in the updatepanel. But it does not disable the page and processing icon is not showing in the centre. How to disable the page and put the processing icon in the centre when button is clicked according to below code?
I have a page that the users get redirected to. On page load this page runs a bunch of code behind that and loads table. The processing could take a few seconds to minutes depending on how big a report is run. Is there any way to completely render the page before automaticly kicking off the code? I am trying to stay away from forcing the user to click on another button.
In part of my web page, I have couple of asp:image Thumbnails, onclick I use ajax modal popup extender to show the imgae in full size which are working fine, what I need to add is to have a processing image or indicator both in thumbnail and modal popup extender, I also have ajax autocomplete that is working fine, I need to add some indicator or processing image to it as soon as user start typing a word.
i use the code for my cascade dropdown list.my JResult function in cotroller doing some complex job.. ( i already fine tune it).based on that function my second dropdown list and some other controls values sets...now i want to show "busy icon" operation while this controller works in background
I am developing web application and in application i need to make call of jQuery using .ajax(); method with datatype is set jsonp. Now all works well with limited data but problem start to occur when data size is increasing......
which returns <div>here</div><script language=javascript>alert('');</script> The content gets loaded property, but no alert. How would I get a javascript routine to work from an ajax call along with posting the HTML code?
I'm looking for some opinions on how to go about the following:
Say I have a wizard control in my website, and I've completed all the steps on the wizard and I want to redirect to another page after the "Finish" button I've clicked. So, then after that I logout of my site, and go back into it bearing in mind the wizard has been completed, I want to redirect the user to another page and by-pass this wizard control. Would I setup a flag in the database, to indicate if the wizard control has been completely filled or not. If status = true then redirect the user to different page (and bypass wizard)... but if status = null then make sure user still can go through steps in the wizard control.
[Code]....
set a flag to state whether all of the wizard has been filled in or not / otherwise go back and complete the wizard?
I want to create a multi step form that allows users to indicate at the end of each step via a checkbox that they have completed all the information in that step. I would like the sidebar to show this information as a visual clue about how far through the wizard they are. NB steps shouldn't get disabled once completed (they could re-edit if they wish) and the users don't have to use linear navigation through the steps.
I wanna show a waiting screen when all elements in my web page are loading, and waiting screen will show off when loading is complete. I don't know how to get notification in Jquery when all elemnts are completely loaded ?
Iam doing a Page in which the i have a lables in the template field of gridview so on the onmouseover on label i need to show the tooltip with dynamic data along with image
I have added this image slider how-to-integrate-the-jquery-galleria-and-jcarousel-plugins/ to my web page twice, one for employees and other for customers.
Now I want to show one and hide the other one, at the same time. So, there will be two links which simply show one & hide the other & vice versa.
I have added this JQuery code for doing so, but it only displays Employee slide show correctly when page loads for the first time. After the when I click on the any of the button it hide/show the slider correctly BUT the when image sliders loads (hide n show) by clicking these links, it does not display any image in the slider only thumbnail list show below.
what changes I should made to the slider's jQuery code so it will resolve this issue!
I'm sorting a gridview inside an update panel. When the user clicks on the column header, the gridview resorts itself fine. However, after the sort, I' like to run a javascript function called MyScript.
