AJAX :: ValidatorCalloutExtender Works, But Does Not Show Error Message?

I have a textbox, with a RequiredFieldValidator and a ValidatorCalloutExtender. The calloutExtender comes up when there is no text in the textbox, but it does not display the error message from the RequiredFieldValidator. I tested this code in a test app, and it worked. It may have something to do with the content containers? These controls are inside of a web user control, which are inside a Telerik RadDock. The parent page also uses a MasterPage. Here is my code from the usercontrol which contains the validator:

I placed 2 requiredfieldvalidators in my page (well, actually, more like a dozen of them, but only these 2 behave this way) and can not seem to figure out why the error message will not be displayed. The validation function works (the processing code is not run and focus is returned to the first field that fails validation) but no error message.

I am using AJAX ValidatorCalloutExtender for validation of a textbox, what i want is that on validation if the textbox is empty the validator callout should not show any message, it should only change the background color of textbox.
Is it possible to achieve this, if yes, how?

I am trying to implement ValidatorCalloutExtender to the RequiredValidator controls.I can say it is working, but i cannot find a way to show all ValidatorCalloutExtender at the same time.When I click submit button, all RequiredValidator controls are fired but only first ValidatorCalloutExtender control is visible. To activate the others, user needs to click other controls, then related ValidatorCalloutExtender controls pupup.How to show all ValidatorCalloutExtender multiple controls?

i am using create user wizard and capturing other information within content template when a new userregisters. Some of the textboxes are binded to required field validators.there is a validation control on the page and ShowMessage box is True.If they dont complete some of the text boxes then the message box pops Up with the error message.It does not however include information errors like "User already exists" or Email address already existsfrom the create user wizard membership UserName and Password Textboxesis it possilbe to hook all of these up so I get one message box with all errors including membership ones?

I just tested a new aspx-website and in the debug mode it works fine.
But when I publish it on the server 2003 with IIS6 then it works first and after several requests I get an error message page not found.
The page itself exists and I think that it is only unavailable on the server.

I don't understand why ModalPopupExtender.show() doesn't works in AsyncFileUpload_UploadedComplete.

Is there a way to have my errorpage show the actual error...if it occurs within my IP range? :)
Or perhaps if I'm in my IP Range, then don't show the custom error page, show the actual crash page...

I'm using the Authorize attribute to filter controller actions based on user roles, but if an unauthorized action is attempted, the user is redirected back to the login page. As I user I would find this confusing and irritating. How can I instead show an error message informing the user they need certain roles, and remain on the view where they attempted an action?

I'm using what I believe is a pretty common/boring/generic implementation of a ModalPopupExtender. I'm using client-side JS to show the dialog when the user clicks a link, and hide it if they click "cancel". I only do a postback if they truly want to save the data.
I can click the link to show the dialog, then click the cancel button to hide it, then click the link to show it... ad infinitum. If I decide to save the data via a postback, everything works well, and the dialog is hidden as a result of the postback, all as expected.
However, once the postback completes, my client-side JS show() never works again. Any attempts to click the link fail quietly; no error messages, the dialog just never shows again.

I have 5 fields on my web form out of which 2 are hidden. i have to validate all of them so i have associated required field validator with all of them. it works fine it does not shows me the error message for the controls that are hidden at that point of time.now i added a custom validation control and when this validation fails all the error messages are shown... can some body please tell me what am i doing wrong and what is the best approach that can be followed in this case.

I have a datasource (which is a query) that could run more than 30 secs. I want to show to a user an animated icon (I have it already) while the Gridview is waiting to return data.
I studied several tutorials and textbooks but all just "thoerectically" use a timer to simulate, without much application to real example above. How should I code it in the above real scenario ? In which event handler to put the code and what control (Update panel) to use and any sample code ?

I am using ajax validator extender (ValidatorCalloutExtender) it is working properly but problem is that default css of this extender is conflict with my css and ValidatorCalloutExtender whole alignment is changed so how can i handle it and set custom css for this extender , is there any way .one thing more that i have try to find solution form google but there is no match with my problem
