Is there any way to handle clientside events for Ajax Control Toolkit controls? for example, is there any way to handle HoverMenuExtender's onmouseover event, make some operations, and let the control to continue it's execution?

Assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit, Version=3.0.30512.20315, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=28f01b0e84b6d53e' contains a Web resource with name 'AjaxControlToolkit.NumericUpDown.NumericUpDownBehavior.debug.js', but does not contain an embedded resource with name 'AjaxControlToolkit.NumericUpDown.NumericUpDownBehavior.debug.js'.
I've made a test page, a HTMLEditor in a updatepanel. And a updatepanel with 1 butten and 1 textfield. If i press the button btnTextBox the _click code below is runned:

It takes a few seconds bevore the "Hellow world" is in the texteditor. But if i remove the HTML editor, it going very quick! So if i add the ajaxcontroltoolkit in the page it slows down quite easy changes with some seconds.... so you get a very slow working page. How can i speed this up. The test ASPX page:

I have an aspx webpage in which an user control is added dynamically as follows:
UserControl testUsrControl = LoadControl("TestUsrControl") as UserControl;
testUsrControl.ID ="test";
Then I tried adding an event handler of user control inside aspx like below:
testUsrControl.Drpdatafield_SelectIndexChanged += new EventHandler(this.Drpdatafield_SelectIndexChanged);
But this line is giving error at **testUsrControl.Drpdatafield_SelectIndexChanged **. The error is "Drpdatafield_SelectIndexChanged" doesn't exist in UserControl.How can get the testUsrControl's events inside aspx page dynamically.
I noticed that the asp:Button for example will work without javascript enabled in the browser. However any other control with an "OnClick" or "OnServerClick" event must use the javascript_doPostback.Are there any controls besides the Button that don't need to use javascript?I want to know because I want to be able to style the Control however I want without it looking like a button, and I want it to still work without the user having javascript enabled.

I am trying figure out how I handle events in a dynamically added user control. Basically I can add user controls dynamically to my form (I am then storing them in an ArrayList in a Session variable that I use to reload them on my Page_Load). Each control has a button on it. However, whenever I click the button, the event never fires (code is never reached). I assume it has something to do with the control being dynamic, and when I click a button, it goes out of scope, and when I reload it something is lose in the event handling.

I've got an issue where I'm unable to view Ajax controls within the Visual Studio toolbox section What makes this issue even more bizzare is that I'm able to view the controls of the .dll (AjaxControlToolkit.dll) in a test website. I can see Visual Studio iterate through the controls and add them to the tab in one project and absolutely nothing in the other. I've already checked to see if another tab has my controls and done multiple Toolbox resets. Obviously, I need consistency with this and for me to be able to easily add controls to my target website...Does anyone know why one VS2008 project displays controls correctly in one place but not in another project?
View 4 RepliesI'm developping an ASP.NET 4.0 application with several controls from the Ajax Toolkit Control.I need a tooltip component, so I use the HoverMenu (displays a Panel when hovering something) and I really like the design used by the ValidatorCallout.So I copied the HTML generated by the framework and added that to my panel.The problem is that it seems that the Ajax Toolkit controls dynamically load the CSS part they need. So it doesn't display anything as there are no ValidatorCallout on the page.I would be really annoyed if I had to add that control only to get the CSS.My solution so far is to also copy the CSS from the ASP.NET website, but I'm looking for a nicer way to reuse the existing Toolkit CSS.Is there a way to load the parts I want "manually" ?
View 1 Repliestime for some expertise. I have a datalist which contains a radiobutton in the itemtemplate. This radiobutton is disabled (set enabled to false) by default. On the html output I have a checkbox, which, when ticked, enables the radiobuttons through javascript. This is all working fine. The rb's are enabled and I can check them. However when the page is posted back. The checked property is always false.
I use the code below to retrieve the value of this rb:

The Ajax control toolkit tab panel automatically inserts a space by all four corners of the body. For example, go to http://www.asp.net/ajax/ajaxcontroltoolkit/Samples/Tabs/Tabs.aspx and look at the TabPanel on the page. The is a space before "Signature:" and "Bio:" labels. the problem is the items text in the combox box is having a square beneath at the second character which is hindering the visibility of the list. but the square is not appearing in the text area.
Adding an Accordion only creates the outer most tags. I then have to add the headercssclass, contentcssclass etc. info. Then i have to manually add <Pane> tags, and then add Accordion Pane controls. Using VWDE 2008, is there a way to customize the control so that adding the Accordion control automatically adds this other info? Ideally with 2 Accordion Panes to start, but even just getting the various Accordion properties and the <Pane> tags added would make it much more <Pane>less!

However, I don't see the ScriptManager control on the front-end. Do I need to reference the Ajax Control Toolkit dll in order to have access to control?
