I have a GridView and can swap the datasource just fine with code. However, The GridView also has a TemplateField with a dropdown connected to a different datasource. How can I swap that one with code too? I don't see how to drill down to find it. I've found stuff on line about accessing the TemplateFields with code, but it seemed to complex for the simple task I am trying to do.
Obviously I am using the tableDnD() function to do that, but after I swapped them, I am saving the datagrid in a DataTable as it is (altered). However this doesn't happen. I need the changes to be posted back to the server. I tried to __doPostBack() after the onDrop function with no luck.
I have time card data collected onto an AS400, and have an establed TimeReview.aspx which allows the user to review Time In/Out, etc. I have a request to add some way for managers to review the time and add corrections. I cannot edit direct or add fields to the time table in the AS400. I do, however, have a SQL Server that I could use to collect this information, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it.
Here's an example of what the table should look like, with the added fields on the right. "X" (Revise) would be a checkbok indicating that this line should be revised. An administrative staff member would pull up the report the next day and manuall edit the time within the AS400.
-- From AS400 table -- -- SQL table -- Time Card info - Empl ID | WO | Date In | Time In | Date Out | Time Out | ---- X (Revise) | Corrected Time In | Correct Time Out
My thought is use an Empl ID field in the SQL table and bind it to the AS400 Empl ID field (not sure how).
I have one dropdownlist with 10 items and one button.(Item name starts from index 0). It i select one item in dropdownlist and click on Button. The selected item should come to first. How do i do that?
How to swap ddl's selected value on buton click.E.g User has Selected One from ddl1 and three from ddl2 then when the user clicks the Button the values should be swapped.
2. I have PC, on which file to copy to device is located, with Active Sync installed and IE running which has a page in that IE has rendered by server #1.
3. I have a DEVICE connected to desktop #2 via AS.
I would like to copy file from a local machine to the device which is connected to this machine. My application is located in a webserver.
On one of my pages I display a datetime (from a database) and it is formatted correctly as a UK date time (dd-mm-yyyy) on my local machine. However when I deploy it to a server it reverts to American format (mm-dd-yyyy). Does anyone have any idea of when this might be happening? This might be outside the scope of stackoverflow
i have a navigation bar made up of ImageButtons that have their image swapped out on mouse over and back on mouse out. i used this code in the Page_Load handler to do this:
I basically want to transfer a file from the client to the file storage server without actual login to the server so that the client cannot access the storage location on the server directly. I can do this only if i manually login to the storage server through windows login. I dont want to do that. This is a Web-Based Application.
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { filePath = FileUpload1.FileName; try { WebClient client = new WebClient(); NetworkCredential nc = new NetworkCredential(uName, password); Uri addy = new Uri("\\192.168.1.3\upload\"); [code]...
Is it possible to know network card id of the user host computer from where the request is coming like IP address. I am interesting to know if it is possible at IIS or asp.net level or any other possible way of knowing it?
I have an application where I need to be able to load files from an SDCard inserted in a client pc and have the files loaded to the server. I had the processing working just fine when I was executing it locally, but when I try to run it on a server, of course it would not work, since the card was not available to the server.
I found some info on some of the forums about sharing the card on the client and then mapping the share on the server. I did this, but for some reason, I cannot see the mapped drive. I tried several variatioins of the DriveInfo.GetDrives method and while it shows the drives that are local, it does not show the network drives.
If there is a better way to do this, I am open to changing my direction.
I want to use CKEditor for a comment field in my ASP.NET MVC 2 application, but can't get it to work. Here is what I have:
The textarea where I try to integrate the editor:
[code]....
And the document ready function:
[code]....
I don't know if the problem is with the TextareaFor helper method, where I tried to set the id to Editor1. I'm pretty new to MVC as well, so I guessed this was how to do it.
