Am using the following 2 events for child grid.
1. RowDataBound
2. RowEditing
I enable AutoGenerateEditButton = "true", which can show me edit button in the child grid. Also i have tried to use the event rowediting which can return e.NewEditIndex too. for the master i use sqlDatasource design time. for the child grid am confusing how to do the edit/delete/add.

I am working in Asp.net 4.5. I need to create a grid as like below, I am struggling to make the merging cells and make it as multi header row by combining all the cells...
Is there any sample to make gridview like this.... I need to do this on codebehind. I browse through the internet and found couple of sample but those are not having the header like i posted. I am little confused about making full header as merged cells....

I have been looking at the guide: [URL] ....
Is it possible to have an edit function, so you can edit the expanded records - fx if you want to add/correct information.
Adding a normal edit/delete button like on a normal gridview doesn't seem to work when it is nested.

I need to be able to delete records from a gridview using a stored procedure. My data comes from two sources so the standard delete won't work. I have come up with the code below which deletes a record, but the wrong one. How can I iterate through the rows to delete the row I actually want to delete.

I have an ASP.NET web app. I reference an external .dll, made by another team member. When first stepping through my code (which calls this dll's class and method), I get an error (runtime of course) stating that the source cannot be found and if I want to step through disassembly.
What causes this? Also, is it possible to add .pdb files to a project's references?

I have a gridview with delete buttons for each record (I've used AccessDataSource). I have loaded the data in and have many duplicate records.
I just want to use the delete button delete each duplicate record while remains many duplicate records. For example:
I used the following query to load in duplicate records:
SELECT * FROM TableA WHERE ([ControlA] IN (SELECT [ControlA] FROM TableA GROUP BY [ControlA] HAVING (COUNT [ControlA]) > 1)))
ID ControlA PIN# FaceValue Date
delete 76637 128232 1234 5 6/4/2006
delete 72722 128232 1234 5 6/4/2006
delete 76638 234567 2345 10 7/3/2006
delete 72723 234567 2345 10 7/3/2006
What is the query to delete single duplicate record instead of deleting all duplicate records?
