I have a gridview on my aspx page with four columns from sql server.
Now my requirement is, whenever user click on button a barcode should be generated from the gridview and displayed in control.
I m totally clueless to how to achieve this and where to start.
I'm trying to play a WAV file that I generate dynamically in a HTTP handler and setting the NavigateUrl property of HyperLink control:

But when I click on that link, it opens Windows Media Player - I don't want that. I just want the sound to play.
I have also tried using a few of the jQuery plugins and they seem to work if I have have a fixed URL to a WAV file but they don't work if I set the URL to my HTTP handler.
I have checked this article link here and its good.. What i want is how can i avoid the button.. mean add the row dynamically without using the button click event.. Instead use text changed event..

Now when I click on newButton, it does not validated dynamically generated textboxes, it does postback and every dynamic object disappear. The sample code is provided below.

I followed the article Nested GridView Example in ASP.Net using C# and VB.Net ..... It is a great article and very simple to follow. I easily modified it to suit my needs and added several more levels to the nested GridView.I am a VB.net Programmer and I have never used ASP.net or JQuery before.
The data I am using is very large and with the "OnRowDataBound" events, the Page is Pre loading all the data into the gridviews and the Plus/Minus images are just displaying/hiding the nested gridviews. The question is "How to make the nested gridviews populate dynamically?" I want to have the nested gridviews to databind when the plus image is clicked.
I added the below code to the Plus image click Function to execute the server-side "BindData" Function. however I don't know enough about ASP or Jquery to get the GridViewRowData to send to the server-side function.

And if i click on Update imagebutton i need to retrieve the textbox values.we can add template field column for textboxes also, but why i am sticking to this method is.. the number of columns changes depending on the selecteditem from the dropdownlist. View 2 RepliesI have a procedure that is generating some radio buttons and assigning a CheckedChanged postback event based on the level being passed through (up to 4 levels). When the first level is checked (radio button selected) the postback event rb_CheckChanged00() is called and a check is done to see if this item has any children, if it does, it will create more radio buttons and assign rb_CheckChanged01 to the CheckChanged event for these - This part is working fine.
The issue I have is when I select the second Radio Button that has been created (the child), it doesn't seem to go to the post back event at all. The page is posting back when I click on it but everything resets because it won't go into rb_CheckChanged01.
I know this info is quite vague but I am hoping someone has an idea on how the post back event works and if I am somehow using it incorrectly.

I have a Solution in which I have A WCF Service web site project which then hosts two separate WCF Service Libraries (each in their own project). One of the Web Services is a Client to the other. When I click the ClientService and select Add Service Reference, it all adds properly, but when I go to build it, I get this error in the reference.cs (the generated file).The type name 'HostWCFService' does not exist in the type 'ClientService.ClientService' C:Users...Reference.cs I don't want it to create a ClientService.HostWCFService namespace, I want to be able to use the HostWCFService as its own namespace. I believe I've had this setup working before at one point; that is, I had this arrangement working before, but am not sure now if the host service was in a sub namespace of the project.
View 1 RepliesI have written a user control that captures some user input and has a Save button to save it to the DB. I use a repeater to render a number of these controls on the page - imagine a list of multiple choice questions with a Save button by each question.
I am loading the user control inside the repeater's ItemDataBound event like this (code simplified):

The problem is that when the Save button is clicked, the page posts back, but lbnUpdate_Click is not called. The Page_Load event of the page itself is called however.
I should mention that the repeater is part of a user control, and that user control is loaded inside another user control (this is a DotNetNuke site which makes heavy use of user controls). The Save button link looks like this:
