I have a chart on a page and i call a dataset which sends the infomation to the chart this works fine and all the infomations is displayed fine. However my x axis is a time which is UTC time. Most of the people looking at the charts will be using EST is there anyway in which i can change the Xasis times to corespond with EST instead of UTC
View 3 RepliesMy application work in this ways. I got a database collect data from 20 sensors. Database holds Temperature and DateTime data/Records from sensors. So i would like to make it whenever i view the chart, it will plot a line chart one by one according to the temperature and timestamp(DateTime). Which mean my X axis is a colleborate time on that particular date.I already design a in the way that the line chart will plot base on both dropdownlist, Sensor ID and Date. So it will work like whenever i select a Date or ID it will read the records from database table temperature.

im using Vs2010 to plot real time line chart. i have been looking for the section that allow me to set X and Y axis..
i jus couldn't find the place for me to set.
my Y axis is a double, min =0, max = 100 and my X axis, min =0, max = 300(seconds).
I am trying to create a chart with three x-axis labels where the chart series x-value member is a date. That is, each data point is a day returned from a SQL Server table. The first label row is to be the day component, the second label row the month name component and the third label row the year. The returned dataset can be from any time period and of varying length. It needs to look like below so each day can be seen but the bigger picture is also shown.
x-axis label(0): 26 27 28 29 30 31 1 2 3 4 5 6
x-axis label(1): March April
x-axis label(2): 2010

I am not sure how to create the next to custom labels at runtime. I have gone through the options using Add(Double, DateTimeIntervalType, Double, Double, String, Int32, LabelMarkStyle) and Add(Double, DateTimeIntervalType, String, Int32, LabelMarkStyle) but I just cannot get them to appear in the chart label.

however could not find how to set the DateTimeIntervalType on the CustomLabel object.
There was nothing in the ChartSamples and I am not even sure if it can be done.
Here what i am trying to accomplish. I want to have a div or panel on the page and have some text on it. The div or panel must hava a specfied time limit and then disaaper from the page. Say i want this text to apper on 10Cotober 10.00 and disapper from the page on 11October 18.00.

When run in browser the textboxdate field shows the current date and time...and Once the textbox incident and text box description fields have been filled in and the submit button is clicked, the fields should be bound to MS SQL table called Incident. This did work before, however it as suddenly stopped working and now displays the following message to me:-

I have a problem using the calendar control on asp.net. Whenever I pick a date from the calendar to input it on my table which is from sql server 2005, I the wrong time. For example the time today is 6pm, 12 AM will be shown on my table. What do you think is the problem?

I have a Formview in INSERT Mode that is binded to a datatable. One of the colums in my Database called "AppointmentDate" is of type DateTime. On aspx, i have a ajax calender extender control. I have 3 buttons that change the Information being displayed in my Gridview (Previous, Today, Forward). Now management wants to SUM the Date's information by column, I have figured out how to do this by changing the BoundField to a TemplateField and then add a FooterTemplate with a SQL DataSource. I have an issue in using dot net chart control. In chart last column is not completely shown which give bad appearance and on right side of chart it looks like TickMark are enabled. I set MajorTickMark of AxisY2 disabled but still tick marks on right side.
