GridView ID is :PhasesTempGrid
Now whats the story is ?After adding some data into textboxes , when a user clicks ADDRow BTN , that data gets saved into datatable , then that datatable gets binded to gridview and it shows my textboxes data in it .
What i want to achieve ?In my gridview i am use templateField and inside that template field there are textboxes ( Let the users edit the row without clicking any button ) .
Take an example of dummy data and problem persisting in there :for e.g i put some data in textboxes :ACode = "ABCD"ADesc = "EFGH"ASeq = "HIJK"Then i click Add BTN , it saves the data in datatable and show in gridview , now if i do this in gridview :ACode = "Edited ABCD"ADesc = "Edited EFGH too"ASeq = "WoW There"Then i click Add BTN , it removes the edited record in gridview and shows original data which had came earlier from textboxes :ACode = "ABCD"ADesc = "EFGH"ASeq = "HIJK"I don't want that to be done ... Simple is that user can enter data from textboxes , click the btn to submit into grid then he can edit the data like he want ... data must not get flashed , here's my coding i have done so far :

Dynamic Controls - Add New Rating Of Selected Item Into Database
Jul 23, 2010On my page I have a list of items with ajax rating controls next to them. These controls I create dynamically from Page_load where I give the rating controls the rating of each corresponding item from the database. The problem is now that when the rating-event is fired I want to go to my event handler och add the new rating of the selected item into my database, but between my click and the event handler-method is fired the Page_load method is run, where all ratings is set from the database again, which means that the new rating I clicked on was restored and that the new rating I was supposed to update my database with will be the old rating already in the database. I create my ratings like this:

From what I heard I need to recreate the dynamic controls i Page_load in order for them to persist throug postbacks, but when I do this the old rating writes over the new rating that I clicked on and need to use for database insertion. How can I solve this?

Then I want to filter/refine that datalist further by clicking on links( which are dynamically created depending on the data on the datalist) and when clicked will pass another querystring to create a new refined datalist.
Example: I clicked on a link that redirects to [URL], a datalist will be produced on another page. Then there is are link on the same page that go to [URL], [URL], then another datalist will be produced. how to code these links, what I have in mind is link (4), link (10). The numbers represent how many records it will display if that link is clicked.
