I have a gridview which is pulling data from sql server2005. Now i have five pdf or jpg files in a folder in my website directory. There urls are stored in sql table like this
myfileuploads/Picture5.jpg
Now i have an itemtemplate in templatefield in gridview
I want that the above url should be displayed in itemtemplate and whenevr user click on this link, related file should be open
i am using link button inside my gridview .
it is firing in IE but not working in mozilla.

I want to add a link/button to each record so that when I click it it opens the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
Suppose I have a folder inside the web application:-

In this folder there are 3 files

How to get the 3 file names into a Gridview ?
when i m trying to open file which are in sub directory it's giving me error while opening or redirecting to it

On daily basis, I am saving a file in my PC. The name of the file is same but with different date including date. What I required to just there should be a gridview with hyperlink button(Download File) columns like this:

When user click "DownloadFile" button then it should go to particular folder in server and download file. he task is very important and urgent for me.

I keep creating a DataList1_SelectedIndex_Changed event created when I double click the label or a link button. What is the code needed? I can see the Eval("CG_ID") value with the label but I don't know how to get it into tbxCG_ID.Text and fire the ListBox1 event.
i will upload my pictures in image folder located in admin folder ,but because admin folder will be visible only to site administrator ,so web site visitors cant see these pictures in each page that are inserted.

I am using two data list one at the bottom & another at the Top to display paging. On Page load, I need to access link button placed inside Data List. Actually I had got two Datalists. I can access one Datalist Link button like this:

This is giving no error. But if I write same code for another datalist say dlPg1, it is giving error: Index was out of range. must be non-negative.

I have two pages, the first one displays a list of products in a gridview, one column in the gridview is a hyperlink, this can be clicked on to get further details about the product. Each row in the gridview can be selected, certain details are added to an array (including the hyperlink column). I them want to display these details on page number two.
