Forms Data Controls :: Pre-Select RadioButton Inside A DetailsView Control?

I am trying (unsuccessfully) to pre-select a radiobutton control (within a DetailsView control) based on a value found in a database.
There are only two values: "Yes" and "No". A field in the database has one of the values in it and I want the correct item selected when the record is displayed in Edit mode.
All my other record fields are displayed correctly--this is the only one giving me issues. I am using vb.

I have a databound label control (i.e. Label 3) inside an Item Template that's in a DetailsView control. I just need to get the value of those label and compare it to some string. I tried several ways (i.e. Find control, DetailsView.Row) but nothing seems to work. I don't know if I'm using the FindControl methos correctly or if I need to access the Row first and do the findcontrol method.

i've a fileupload control <asp:fileupload> called (UpImage) inside the <EditItemTemplate> called (dtlAlbums) of a <asp:DetailsView> which is inside a <asp:GridView> called (grdAlbums), when i use the below code to find the control (UpImage) i get an error at the RED line that, (Object not set to a reference of an object)

I´m trying to link the gridview to detailsview and I used this page as my inspiration:

But I´m trying to do that programmatically, not with the sqldatasource. So I wrote the method that binds data to Detailsview and I call it in the page_load. The problem is that I have to click two times on the select button to view the detailsview. The first time I click on the select button nothing happens.

I have a boolean / bit value in the database called "is_paid". Depending on this value I want to Disable a button. (the same would go for example to set a textbox not Visible, but anyway)
What I want is to Disable the button, if my boolean is 1 (true).
First I tried to convert my boolean value to text:

But got an error:

So another trial I did was to CAST the data from the database to be the text that I want, like so:

And my code changed to:

I am trying to implement multiple choice questions within my web application. I have datalist within a datalist. First datalist contains questions, second datalist contains choice, only one choice should be selectable at a time. I am using radio button. Even though I have set radio button's GroupName property, I can't make them selectable one at a time.

I have been searching the net for quite a while and can't find an example of how to put a radiobutton or radiolist inside a formview. I have an objectdatasource that goes back to a table. One field in the table is Hydro -- which is an int field. There are three valid choices:
value Text
0 None
1 15 Amp Service
2 30 Amp Service
When I set my Formview to the objectdatasource my Hyrdo binding looks like this:

How would I change the above so that it would replace the TextBox with either a radiolist or 3 radiobuttons (I am ok with whichever is easier) so that it would look like this
Hydro: o None o 15 Amp o 30 Amp
Also, in the case of the update mode that the correct item is selected based on the value of 0, 1, 2 being read from the datatable

I'm trying to allow my users to select a record from their list of attendees and edit it using a details view positioned below the GridView. The issue I'm having is when I run the code I get my error message and no data is displayed in the DetailsView. Error Message is:

I use a GridView control to select the row to display within the FormView. The FormView contains a RadioButtonList to facilitate the selection of one of its values.
