Is there any way to do like when we are displaying records in grid view only 5 links we showed in that gridview in below we provide one link click for more when user click that link we display all links in grid view in pop up control is there any way to do like this.

May I know how do I store the values of the child gridview temporary (maybe in session) and repopulate the data into the parent gridview? Current problem is: once I click save in the child modalpop gridview, it binds the parent gridview before the child gridview data is stored in session. How do I save my current gridview sorting and the gridview row that was used to activate it in a session
I'm using modal popup extender and panel with calendar in it. Click the "Next / Previous Month" closes the modal popup. How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.

I want to create a good Pop up on button click. pop up whose "height" , "width" can be controlled. It can be either Jquery pop up or Javascript. In this pop up I want to use asp.net controls and ajax (as normal webpage functionality but in form of pop up) also its background should be little blur when pop up is open.How can i create such pop up?
View 1 RepliesI am trying to make a Javascript Alert appear when someone clicks on a textbox that is part of a Gridview. the textbox is an Item template and I have an onclick="NotePopup()" in the TextBox properties. I am having trouble grabbing the correct ID of the text box, because it is nested inside a gridview. I have been looking around on Google for a solution but none of the responses are working for me. The gridview will have multiple rows, so each textbox that could potentially be clicked will have a different ID, is there any way to pass the correct ID to the Javascript, or have the Javascript function grab the correct ID?
I did use

then cut and paste the ID from ViewSource of a textbox and append it to the Control Variable, to test out the popup and it does work

Which I found useful to create gridview with dropdown filter. What my gridview differs from your one is based on ID, a modal is loaded. E.g. there is a column called "review" and in that column there is image that when clicked it loads a modal with details. My question is, how do i do this using the code provided by you. So ID is passed back to code. (So backend knows which row is clicked).
