Jan 12, 2011A common problem in repeater controls where you want to display data for update (like a list of user phone numbers that can be updated and submitted back to the database) is where to store the database unique row identifier. So, I created a custom Textbox control that I've added a Data property to. I populate this data property with the unique row id. The problem is that when I post back the list and go through the repeater items the control's data property is null. The custom control looks like this:

I have a custom checkbox with the same data property and it works fine. I actually put in the same repeater with the textbox control and the checkbox control have the row id on postback but the textbox did not. Is there some limitation on the textbox control that might be causing this.

But the image butten fails and I can at the most get it to write "Subit Querry" att the fields where I'm trying to get the images to appear. I havent that much usefull code for this after trashing the most in frustrations. but this is what I got.

Apr 20, 2010I've basically got 2 applications. One is my back office application (Admin) and the other , the front end application (web site)
My problem is that, the admin uploads 'n' number of photos ,which is stored in one of the folders within my back office application and the path is stored in my DB as , for example : ~/Uploads/test.jpg.
But it is not possible for me to access this image from my front end application because the path actually exists in my back office app. How do i get to view the images that I uploaded on my front end Appn. ?

1.Should I be able to just open the Image handler and see the image...if so then I think my problem is in it because all I see is a blank screen.
2. Is image/png a legitimate image type? The file is a .png file but I have found no information that this is a image type.
3. Not sure I have the IMAGEURL coded correctly.
I have hardcoded my variables in the image handler just to test.
