I have 3 classes: Client - Product - New. And for all need to display a modal popup to create/edit action. For display the modal i used JQuery and jqModal plug-in.
I created the controllers for all objects, the views for Index action, and Delete action. For the Create/Edit Action I created a partial view named ModalBox. Inside this partial view, I have an Ajax.BeginForm, and it calls another partial, that represent the form of the objects.
This works very fine, ... for the project object! in FireFox 3.6, for others object's the form tag is missing...
Is it possible to populate all generated form elements using AutoCompleteExtender? Now i have one textbox called Userid when i put some number it is listing the list of IDs from the database using AutoCompleteExtender. I need to make, if selected ID correct, other Form Field should fill with relevant data. Currently i am filling it with TextChange event for the UserID field, but it is reloading the whole page. So Is there anyway can be filled all Form Elements using AutoCompleteExtender?
View 5 RepliesHopefully this is the right place for this question. I have done a fair amount of research and yet to find anything that matches what I want. What I'm envisioning is the following. Let me know if any of you know of a program that will do what I want. Also it must be web-based anom user -> fills out form -> email gets sent to admin saying xyz has filled out form abc with links to approve/disapprove request.
admin can also login and edit form and resent results to original submitter. Also once the admin approves/disapproves request the original submitter gets an approve/disapprove email.
and you can search by date submitted, specific project/form, status of request(submitted, approved, disapproved). all on where I could find this? I started to look into drupal with workflows and actions but it just doesn't flow right for this
i have a form which allows the user to key in the data and then submit.
if everything works well on this action result, then i will redirect the user back to a thank you page.
my problem right now is that when the user click on the back button, they will be able to go back to the form page and the inputs will still be there.
and if the user just click on submit again, i will be getting some potential weird bugs.
so in terms of asp.net mvc, what's the best way to handle users who click on the back button?

This script is generating a visitor map on my web page, now I don't want my user to click on the script and get redirect to that website. How can I restrict that? Can I make a div tag and make all element inside the div tag to read only? I have make sure that this restriction doesn't falls under company rules, they just want their logo under the map. Can I catch this through any event and again redirect the user to the default page? Like when user click the image, I check the URL and if the URL contains that site name I again redirect to the default page.
I have a asp.net page where we need to dynamically generate a table, table row, and a checkbox controls in this row. A button serves Add Row and create checkbox function, which works fine. We have another button which serves on deleting the selected row if a user checks the checkbox. The deleting event is dynamically added to the checkbox. But the delete button is not working at all. I think that the page does not maintain the states of dynamically generated controls, even I set Page enable view state to True. Here is the code:

Now, my issue is how do I handle the next On_click event requesting for items under subproducts which will inturn calls the same onselectednodechanged method and how do I write condition to skip above steps to occur, since I need to build a different request on click of subproducts asking for items.

i just made an onmouseover and onmouseout event using javascript and called the functions from the asp image tag like <contol.....onmouseover="thissss()" /> my question is why do i need to write javescrit for this? have heard so much praise of asp.net and c#! is there a way that is code to handle these events for all types of object using the .cs file (c#) directly?? i would assume the code will be under the page load event.
