There is a AlternateText property in image-buttons so that while hovering mouse on image buttons, alternate text could clarify the functionality of the button. I want to do so with ASP.net standard gridview and show a text while mouse being stopped on buttonfield button that I've added to my gridview. But such a property does not exist and my searches using Intellisense reached nowhere.

This datagrid view already has bind data to a function so it can displays the names that are withint a xml file (first column is a hyperlink column).
But next i want to be able to delete the xml values that are in the first column.(by clicking on the delete button on the second column of it)

I have a datagrid include 10 columns,and the eighth column is the template column created by asp label .Now I would like to display long text string and wrap the text in this template column .I used the property " itemstyle-wrap=true" in my page ,but can not work .
View 1 RepliesI just wrote an application level err handler for my website. The errors are saved in sql server. Now I download the info back into a datagrid and on the selectedrow changed I put the stacktrace and other big fields in textboxes like so :

However the text is now formatted like this :
txtSearchClient = ""
instead of :
txtSearchClient = "";
I've confirmed that the text is in the right format in SQL server but I cna't find a way to deencode it.
I have a datagrid with a text footer, and wanted to change the text in this footer when change selection in dropdownlist, but this change is not visible on the client(browser). I've been doing some tests and if i use the databinding() method datagrid is updated, and the text is correct.
My question is how to force the table to be drawn with the new changes. I think what the databinding() method is redrawing the datagrid, in the browser.

I want to create a page where I can upload an image using any upload function and then display it. Now after diplaying it I want to select the hotspots for an image map. The coordinates of image map values are stored in a database.
Basically I want that to create image maps and hotspots I dont use any offline software, this work is successfully completed and working perfectly, but i want generate one identification where i click the hot spots position in image or CSS file Generate for user identifications, So how can i solve this problem.

I don't want to save it to file, just display the change on that web page. I have seen code on how to do this but I do not see how to load it into an image control. Is this possible without saving it to file?

I tried using a TemplateColumn and a usual asp:Button - This worked, but then clicking it did not fire the ItemCommand event of the grid which I need to fire.
