Currently I have button on a form and I need to make buttons image but maintain the click event functions that they have. For instance I have a button that says Update. Is there a way to add an image and put text in that image that says Update and maintain it's functionality. here is the code for the button:

I have a datalist control,inside which I have an Image button and a label.They are getting populated from db.Labels are corresponding to the Images.So,Image1 is of Tajmahal,the text of the label will be "Tajmahal" etc.
Now there are some items,for which no image is available and the default image which is coming for such items,is: "NoDataFound.gif".
I need to show the 'Name' of the corresponding item in the middle [horizontally and vertically] of those type of images["NoDataFound.gif"].

I'm currently building an intranet engine for a project I've got on the go at the moment, and I'd like to save myself a little time by generating header images from code where possible, however, I'd like it to match our concept image.What I'd like to achieve is below:My issue is I've not the faintest how to create that from code. I can do the absolute basics but that's about it.
I start to fall down when it comes to the gradient background and the drop shadow on the text. I can get away with positioning the text on the larger header image, so if it's not possible to generate the exact gradient I have there, then I have a work around for that, but what I really want to achieve is the text with the font and drop shadow.I'd say it's safe to assume that to use a "non-standard" font, I'd merely need to install it on the web server?
There is a AlternateText property in image-buttons so that while hovering mouse on image buttons, alternate text could clarify the functionality of the button. I want to do so with ASP.net standard gridview and show a text while mouse being stopped on buttonfield button that I've added to my gridview. But such a property does not exist and my searches using Intellisense reached nowhere.

I hav created two resource files for each of them.In the English I have written 'Hello' as the value for the key and for the
bengali I copied the word from google.
But when I paste I only see squares in the value box of the resource file(not the actual fonts).
This is despite the fact that I have installed Bengali fonts on the machine.

View 6 RepliesJust wondering if anyone has ever managed to find a way to have a datagridview image button column in a template field which display different images on different rows depending on some data element in the row. Our application needs to display a series of fees charged against an account column which will be either less then 500, 500 to 1000 or >1000. Some of those fees are charged at a full rate, others at a partial rate, and some are not charged at all. The user would like to see a simple 3-state graphic which would convey the simple info: full-charge, partial-charge, or no-charge. Sounds easy enough but I've not yet managed to find a way to do this. Every time I attempt to modify the individual cell's graphic it seems to want to change the graphic for all the rows.
