I am using BubbleEvent to give events from a web user control to its parent (which is a Default.aspx with code behind page).
I would like to use BubbleEvent to not only pass the sender and event, but also an integer or another variable.
Is there a way to add a parameter to the BubbleEvent, or is there a different way I should be approaching this?

I created a table(UserProfile) to store additional user info and create foreign key relationship btw UserId of UserProfile table & asp.net_Users table.
When i run the createuser page i have this error:
The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_User_Profile_aspnet_Users1".
"dbo.aspnet_Users", column 'UserId'.
The statement has been terminated.

View 3 RepliesI guarantee the title of my thread does not explain what I am looking for, but I just can't think of a better way to word it. What I have right now is an application that the user can add, search, and update various orders in the System. I've been working on the front end page, and wanted to display a summary of all orders performed this month. Right now the Orders are represented as labels (based on data pulled from the database). What i'd like to do is replace these labels with hyperlinks. I was hoping that by doing that I could somehow write some code so that when an order is clicked that the user is taken directly to the search page and that order is displayed.
View 6 RepliesHi. I have two chained CascadingDropDowns. Both are working fine. The thing is that in the underlying web methods which are supplying values for DropDwonList I need read one additional parameter. This parameter is needed for setting up the default item for dropdownlist.
I do not know how to pass that parameter or read it. I've read on the Internet about the ContextKey property. But I do not know how to acces it from the WebMethod.
I've tried to get to the session through HttpContext.Current.Session (hoping that I could extract some parameter from the session) but it seams that the Session is different for the WebPage and WebMethod.

i'm trying to upload files by AjaxFileUpload, i have got it done. But now i need also to know 2 parameters, 1 is given on the URL adreess myPage.aspx?parameter=2...the second is in ViewState.
But on event OnUploadStart or OnUploadComplete...i dont have access to these values event when i tried session.
this is regarding a tutorial posted here at [URL] , as such this example is working fine, but what if i have a textbox in the page and i want to call the value in the web handler, how can i achieve that?

.js file. The signature for my client function is:

Now when I select city from DDlcity after that select region from DDlregion according to my selected item from DDlcity and DDlregion it bind DDlDistrict... before I used OnselectedIndexChange below is SP...

I have written a class file (which contain a function to render the graph,a function for entering data named insertdata(string[] s,double[] d)) in App_code folder. I pass the value into the insertdata during page load_event. I saw a feature of googlechart.when you pass the value in url address bar it will create a graph according to that passed value. how can i pass the value into the insertdata() function through url address?

Is it possible to pass a variable from the ASP.NET page to the HTML within the IFrame? More specifically, I'd like for the ASP.NET page to fill in one of the fields on the form within the HTML page.

Using Vb.net I created a html table with a hyperlink column to another ASPX.Net page. The page I am linking to has a text box that accepts a customer number and a button (NEXT) to link to another ASPX.Net page. When I link to the first page, the customer number is not in the textbox. Also, I do not know how to execute the NEXT button so it links to the final page.

I type in the url Profiles/Details/hello, but it does not work, if I do Profiles/Details?UserName=hello then it works. I have another ActionResult just like this except taking in an int id as parameter and it works fine with the first url format.
