How To Move Data From Database In Click Event Of Button In C#

I am displaying one question & their 4 options per page. For that i have one label for question & radiobuttonlist for their answers.There is next button. after clicking next button i want to display another record. I have tried this with dataset with random function, but its not proper. values gets repeated. so i want first record to be display in pageload & after clicking next button next record should move till record exists. I want to move one record to another after clicking next button.

I have two listboxs, one contains the author list and another contains the author for the selected book.And I have button two move author from first listbox to second listbox. All are working but the problem is:If the author is already exist in the second listbox, do not move from first listbox.So what kind of code can I write into move button so that it checks the selected value in the first listbox with the values in the second listbox, if exists; display the message "Already exists; try another one"

So I followed Scot Mitchell's tutorial from asp.net/learn on adding a checkbox column to be able to select multiple entries and delete them with the click of a button. When I make my selection and click the button it works on the database end, as the desired entries are deleted. However, the entries remain on the page after it reloads. if I refresh the page it's updated properly but I'd like it to automatically update after the button is clicked.
Also, I tried his method for adding check/uncheck all buttons to the top of the gridview and they don't seem to be working either.

Background: I am customizing an existing ASP .NET / C# application. It has it's own little "framework" and conventions for developers to follow when extending/customizing its functionality. I am currently extending some of it's administrative functionality, to which the framework provides a contract to enforce implementation of the GetAdministrationInterface() method, which returns System.Web.UI.Control. This method is called during the Page_Load() method of the page hosting the GUI interface.
Problem: I have three buttons in my GUI, each of which have been assigned an Event Handler. My administration GUI loads up perfectly fine, but clicking any of the buttons doesn't do what I expect them to do. However, when I click them a second time, the buttons work.
I placed breakpoints at the beginning of each event handler method and stepped through my code. On the first click, none of the event handlers were triggered. On the second click, they fired.

remember my previous post about how to use 4 timers controls for incrementing 4 individual variables. I have fixed it below is the code for doing that. But there is again a problem,I want to increment the variable "hh" by 10 at button "btnbid"'s click event (remember it'll(hh) increment by 1 at each timers tick event but when a button is pressed it'll increment by 10). When I'm trying to this it's not incrementing can any body tell me why this is happening is there any way to fix it.

I have a dropdownlisbox , i am changing the selectedIndex by PageMethod(i.e it will change its value and text on checkbox status). At that time it don't fire the selectedIndexchange method but when i click the button it fires(i.e on postback).

I have a gridview, I would like to call an event gridview rowdatabound on button click, but in gridview are edittemplate that uses textbox.
Is when I can call event RowDataBound on button click, edittemplate value in gridview can calculate?

i am currently developing an asp.net project. there is a previous, next, and cancel button that the user can utilize, but the problem is that everything is broken into controls so that if they hit the browser's back button it will reset everything and take them to the very beginning. i would like to capture the onbeforeunload event and trigger the previous button click event (i.e. treating navigation like clicking the previous button).

I have a textbox with autopostback=true and a button to save the data in the form. Functionality works fine when entering a value in the textbox, tabbing out of the textbox and clicking on the save button. But issue comes up when entering a value in the textbox and directly clicking on the save button without tabbing out of the text box. In the second scenario, only textchanged event fires and save click event dosen't fire. What I was expecting was after exection of textchanged event, save click event should also fire. But this is not happening.

I have one Button (Refresh Button), One ComboBox (containing DEV and UAT as its items) and a GridView on my asp page.
I am filling up my Grid with values from database on the ComboBox's 'TextChanged' event and Buttons's 'Click' event.
First time when page is loaded, there is no information in the grid, but when i choose DEV/UAT from the ComboBox 'TextChanged' event is fired, the grid is filled with the relevant data. That is what i want.
When i click the Refresh Button to refresh the data again, first comboBox's 'TextChanged' event and then 'btn_Click' event is fired.
I want then when a button id pressed only 'Click' event to be fired and not the ComboBox's 'TextChanged' event.

I have a modal formview with insertitemtemplate. I have to click the insert button twice to fire the event.
But if I do not insert any values, only one click is required and the validationgroup fires. But if I enter all valid values, I need to click twice and the event does not fire during the first click. But I need CausesValidation = false because to required field validators.
How to avoid two clicks to fire the event if the formview is valid
