My asp.net application running properly in single machine and even server itself . But when i installed the microsoft vss on server and cline machine and added the application in server vss itself. But that time it self it showing dll error . I am using Windows Xp Os. My vss is microsoft vss 2005

I have OS windows 7(64 bits), Visual studio 2008 and Oracle 11g I have run "InstallAllOracleASPNETProviders.sql" who comes with the Oracle installation. When I run in debug I can run this application, but not otherwise. And in IIS manager, I can't se the Oracle provider? I have created a website which has a main level and 2 sub categories which can only be accessed if logging in. I am using visual web developer 2008.So for example i have admin and prodpage as a subfolder which requires authentication. I currently have

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level
Note:i have added in the main part of the config a forms authenitication but this redirects me start to the login page upon loading website which is not what i want. This part was meant for prodpage.

- My machine is running on windows XP sevice pack 3
- I installed Visual Studio 2008 and .NET framework version 3.5 SP1 on that machine
- I can see that ASPNET User group account Under Users and Groups and it doesn't have "Account is locked out" ticked under general tab
- Also I ran aspnet_regiis -i many times but didn't help; actually I red in one post that I should delete ASPNeT account first and run the script but still didn't help
- when I view http://localhost on IE I can view the ASP home page without any problem but Firefox asks me to enter user name and password.

View 2 RepliesUntil last week it was going smoothly. Now when I make changes to any of the forms it still shows up fine when I hit F5 to run it, but when I install it on the server none of the changes show up. I have uninstalled the site and reinstalled it but the result is the same.
I am using VSTS 2008 and I have tried building this on two machines with the same result. The solution contains a web deployment project and a setup project. Both of which were working fine early last week. This isn't a configuration specific issue because it happens on both. I get no error messages.

I'd installed newly Visual Studio 2010,and i want to create a new local website on my iis server and i follow these steps:
1-from my iis i create a virtual directory
2-in command promt i execute these commands:
aspnet_regiis -i
aspnet_regiis -ga aspnet
3-i go to VS2010 and create a new website (HTTP) and choose my created Virtual Directory has been built in previous step
Now if i do step 3 with framework 4 i don't have any problem but with framework 3.5 my website hasn't been run and says me : "Unable to start debugging on the web server.The web server is not configured correctly. See help for common configuration errors. Running the web page outside of the debugger may provide further information."
On one server I have my ASP.NET 3.5 website running just fine. That server is the one we use for testing (IIS6 with ASP.NET 2.0.50727). I went to the live server where ASP.NET is also installed (IIS6 with ASP.NET 2.0.50727). I right-clicked on the folder I wanted my website to go in, and I set it as an application in IIS. But when I go to the website on the live server, I get the Runtime Error. Like the error told me to do, customErrors mode is "Off" in the web.config file. I even changed authentication mode to "None" (it was set to Windows on the test server). Yet I still get this error. Is there something I should change about the web.config file? Is there something I should check in IIS?
